  • Did you hear about the recent study published that said protein can ruin your arteries? Well this is a classic example of why it’s important to look at the nitty gritty details of the study. The protein source for this study was actually a highly processed drink with the main ingredients consisting of sugar, highly refined corn and canola oil and artificial flavours…
Drinking an ultra processed protein drink loaded with sugar and corn and canola oils (usually GMO to withstand large amounts of pesticides BTW) with artificial flavours is not healthy. And it is definitely going to have a different effect than high quality protein from meat.
Furthermore the protein sources from Nestles Boost drink is milk powder and soy. Soy is of course a vegetable not meat which everyone keeps telling us we need to stop eating 😆
Like I said I’ll believe it when they use a clean #protein source in a large human clinical trial.
There are 100’s of studies showing a multitude of ways protein is beneficial, we only need to take a look around today to see that people are less healthier than they used to be and most are eating significantly more highly processed garbage when heart attacks were much lower many decades ago.
