Behind The Brand | John Smedley 'Made in Great Britain'

We've been representing GB since 1784, and proud of it too. Operating in the same mill in Matlock, Derbyshire, very little has changed in the way we do things. Dedicated to making quality British made garments, we wanted to celebrate this truly Great British year by showcasing our very special manufacturing heritage.
Our British campaign is launched with a film. Chapter one : Representing Great Britain is a beautiful display of the many parts of our production process. Each machine and work station has been carefully recorded to create a 'British Made' soundtrack. It shows our passion for quality knitwear and for the people who have lovingly crafted our garments for over 200 years. We hope you like it.
