I agree. I’m so glad that description was changed in the remake. It was changed to ‘can’t be affected by status conditions” in the remake, which is much better.
@edward9487 wait till we use plague rats in space programs to bring "life" to other planets. one of those diseases are bound to survive on: the moon, venus, mars, etc
Poor Ms. Mowz, she is electrified, charged, harmful-to-touch, huge, stronger, hardened, dizzy, poisoned, frozen, sleepy, immobilized, confused, dodgy, invisible, and allergic at the same time. She also replenishes her health and power overtime, but that only serves to prolong her pain.
This is pretty crazy lol. The only possible status that could've been added at that point is slow/fast, but unfortunately, there's not really any way to do that without giving up the Dizzy and Confused statuses, since the Shadow Sirens can't inflict those. Actually, maybe it would be theoretically possible to pull that off with stage hazards, as they can inflict dizzy and confusion? That would be obnoxiously RNG dependent, though.
I'm working on an RPG, so this video and part one were very helpful for answering my UI design questions about what to do if there's an absurd number of status effects! Thanks lol
Now for even more insanity and RNG dependent events, try to do this against the Shadow Sirens in chapter 8, just so you can get the slow status (can shadow queen cause slow with her “breath” attack?). Also, the fact that you did this on Mowz is strangely poetic
Ms. Mowz probably out here questioning her life choices as she suffers through every disease known to mankind (mousekind?) at once. What did she do to deserve this lol
Sixteen, wow. You ended the video with a big blast with Danger (5) for Mario and Peril (1) for Bobbery. Funny that you can move and dodge even if you are literally inside an ice block and that it doesn't separate the negative from the positive status effects. This is beside the point but is sucks in TTYD (unlike in the original), the enemies that suck won't get zapped straight away before sucking and dealing damage to you. (The pun was intended by the way).
Subscribe for more lab rat experiments lol 🐁

I bet you'd find Means've Making Space Food Viable.

Really now... 😒
Not only is Ms.Mowz Frozen, Poisoned, Confused, Asleep, etc... but she is allergic now.
I love that you basically can't even see Mowz under all the status conditions
"Status hasn't changed" is the worst possible description of allergic lol
Failed translation. It's meant to say "Status can't change."
Is that what Chaos Control is?

I bet Ms. Mowz didn't expect to be turned into a lab rat when she joined Mario.

Imagine if that Poison Mushroom instead did the 20% chance to full heal instead.
Well, now I know that there are at least 17 status effects in Paper Mario: TTYD.
So funny how that’s even possible, it goes off the screen lol
i don't think the devs ever tested what it would look like. the most stats a casual ever has at once is probably 6 or 7. which is still on screen :D
I legit did not know that Space Food made you Allergic.
If there was a “How did we get here?” Achievement in this game, this would be it.

I beg to differ.
