That's cool to hear. These programs are free (or have at least a free version), except SynthEyes I believe. So you don't have to spend a lot of money right away.

I will make another Star Wars animation in the future. Currently I just want to explore/ learn some VFX-stuff and not just Star Wars

Currently I'm using SynthEyes, Blender, Fusion and Davinci Resolve for my workflow.
