hey Jeff I love the old kenworths my uncle had a 1977 kenworth he bought it new and put almost 2 million miles he stretched the frame and put a 444 Cummins in the jake was amazing nothing sounds no better
My grandpa has three of them. He had a trucking company and had to go get trucks in Seattle (we are in Ohio) he flew there and came back with three Kenworth 521s.
Jeff my dad loves you're videos and we watch them all the time and he gets a lot of laughs because he is a trucker and reminds me of when I go with him he goes to a truck show and got 1st this year he trucks every day I see him once a week so yea can u give a shout out next time u do a video in American truck sim for me so yea keep up the good work bye
I totally dig your videos man! My dad drove for over 26 years. And he taught me some cool stuff and some crazy stories hauling gas freight and steel. Definitely keep posting videos bro👌🏼 an idea for this truck you're driving right now would be like a sunburnt orange you were doing with the pearlescent paint. And then definitely chrome wheels for sure.
We have one we use on our farm, it’s a 1956 kenworth 521. Things a beast. Except we have the cummins 560 in it, with a 13 speed Eaton. (Other engine took a dump on us)
Jeff you air brake simulation looked like it was off when you were in the settings. You should drive this truck the way it was made with three lever shifters. No air shift switches.
IIRC they made the 521 from 1955-2004ish. It remained relatively unchanged from 55-late 80's because it was such a well built truck. After that they started getting into more aerodynamic bodies but if you looked at a 1955 and a 1985 the body was the same but it got upgraded headlights, windshield, grill ect.
The 521 was from the late 40s to mid 60s then came the w series. The 444 cummins you used was from the late 80s. In real life it should be operated at 1800-2000 rpm. All mechanical motors run high rpm,Detroits from what I've been told run real high like 25-2800 but I've never had one all your electronic motors run around 14-1600 roughly. I run my 3406e at 1550 cruising. Hope this helps. Enjoyed your video. Would like to see more truck mods in the steam workshop someday and a livestock trailer. Anyway take care
nicely done jeff love the paint but your right wheel could of been different color like white would of been good have the link bookmark will check it out later
That's actually a diesel v8 sound. It sounds like a Detroit v8. Check them out Jeff they are a seriously stout motor. Pass everything except a fuel stop
so cool....I'm a sucker for anything classic American oh and also by the way can you please do a review of the Kenworth k100 long frame i mean it's just gonna be a redo of the Kenworth w900 you already did but this one is a flat nose and I think it might be a bit longer.
The 521 is a 50s 60s kenworth. Quickest way to tell if a truck is older than 1958 or so is if the lights are molded into the fender like a typical w900 As best I can recall 1958 is when kenworth started to make changes to the style of the trucks An example would be a 1958 524KW
The dodge rams are bad ass and I love blacking out a vehicle. I'm having my Freightliner fld painted matte black with a viper red frame rail and tanks. When ever I get it done I'll share a video with you.
Mines a condo but your definitely right. I know where a few flat top flds with a lowered front end is and 300 inch wheel base they are sick as hell. Mine is a condo but I love it. More room for my big ass stereo
hey Jeff I was looking on Google and I saw a 1956 kenworth 521 truck for sale they said it had an Cummings 220 or something like that if u look at kenworths website they don't show it on there
My grandparents have an old kenwerth 521 it sounds amazing
Love them old trucks. Looks like one my cuz drove back in his day. Kept it for a while. Very cool indeed!
hey Jeff I love the old kenworths my uncle had a 1977 kenworth he bought it new and put almost 2 million miles he stretched the frame and put a 444 Cummins in the jake was amazing nothing sounds no better
Me: 1am...I'm going to bed
*Takes a last look at RUclips feed*
*Sees new video from Jeff*
Me: 27 more minutes won't hurt..
Exactly the same for me too.
My grandpa has three of them. He had a trucking company and had to go get trucks in Seattle (we are in Ohio) he flew there and came back with three Kenworth 521s.
I like that truck. The color combo looked really nice.
Fella around here has a 521 log Truck,a old B Mack log Truck(show piece) he still uses the 521,it's got a Detroit in it you can tell.

I can admire this beautiful lod fashioned truck. Hearing it accelerate sounds amazing.
Yeah that truck definitely sounds amazing.
that truck sounds so amazing. and I gotta agree black Rams do look sharp
The kenworth 521s were made from the early 1950s. then came the w900 from 1965 up to now, the greatest truck ever made, the w900.
Jazzy jas I learned something new today!

That Jake Brake is music to my ears!
My grandfather used tor drive one for a living. it was blue and white, it also had a 5 and 4 transmission and he had a 12v71 engine put in it.
we have a old man he still drives and he does use that truck been his first and only truck
Adkins Gaming is it still in good condition?
Loved the video. Keep up the great work. 👍

It would be pretty sweet to find one of these in real life, and restore it and drive it around.
Hey Jeff you should get back to flight simulators! I'm looking forward to that! I enjoy every video you post! Good luck with the awesome channel!
Maximum Overdrive is a good truck movie too with the green goblin truck.

Yes it does 👌
I love this truck. Reminds me of the movie Duel.
I know it's not the same make of truck but this reminded me so much of the 70's movie Duel. The hood shape is pretty much identical.

I love Kenworths
We have one we use on our farm, it’s a 1956 kenworth 521. Things a beast. Except we have the cummins 560 in it, with a 13 speed Eaton. (Other engine took a dump on us)

Jeff you hear about that truck that flipped on its side due to wind? Be crazy if that weather mods in ATS
Nice truck man
500+ horsepower on that and you’re now driving The Duel’s evil truck.
Duel was a peterbilt 281-351
My father owned one powered by a 8v92 had a 5/4 transmission
That's actually a diesel v8 sound. It sounds like a Detroit v8. Check them out Jeff they are a seriously stout motor. Pass everything except a fuel stop

Nice one :) The only thing which doesn't fits to the truck is the engine, would have loved to see the struggle with the 270 - 350hp engines ;)

An example would be a 1958 524KW
I drove a 521, starting in 1965 till 1969.
That is sick
I wish they put in Pennsylvania into ATS because it would be crazy twisty roads and all the "trucks reduce gear" signs
I like the Truck it look cool
My grand pa has a 521 completely customized we use it on the farm to haul grain and equipment
Awesome truck ;)
Awesome truck I downloaded the mod but it doesn't appear in any dealer but I have this video to appreciate the mod
Have you ever try addding a black smoke mod?
It even has the dual sticks 5+4 transmission but I bet not many noticed that
The dodge rams are bad ass and I love blacking out a vehicle. I'm having my Freightliner fld painted matte black with a viper red frame rail and tanks. When ever I get it done I'll share a video with you.
oh nice man! I love the FLD's
Patrick robinson I've always had love for the flds especially when they're flat top
Mines a condo but your definitely right. I know where a few flat top flds with a lowered front end is and 300 inch wheel base they are sick as hell. Mine is a condo but I love it. More room for my big ass stereo
Love your American truck simulator series jeff. I was just wondering does this mod only carry Walmart trailers or can different ones be added?
trailers have nothing to do with the truck mod
Jeff Favignano o ok
hey Jeff I was looking on Google and I saw a 1956 kenworth 521 truck for sale they said it had an Cummings 220 or something like that if u look at kenworths website they don't show it on there
