I go to Pine Creek a lot and still haven’t kayaked it. Your videos are such an inspiration and remembering this place through your videos brought me out of my own dark place. Thank you so much and keep up the sober life and the adventure lifestyle! 🙏🏼
Thank you, Andrew! It's all about figuring out what truly matters and making time to do those things! And accepting that some activities, and sadly some friends, just don't need to be in your life anymore.
Great video Bert!! And congratulations on your 3rd anniversary!! You handled the river well being that it’s your first time in a hard shell and loaded up to the max! 👏🏼👏🏼👍
Hello Bert from Summerville Oregon USA. Pine Creek looks very similar to the Grande Ronde River with the exception of wilderness and wildlife. It is much more technical at low water than high.. We always joke about our ride or rigs not showing up (it has happened) but like you we may always count upon help from most folks. Glad to see your back in the yak, thanks.
Thanks so much, Rob! It was a long winter and I’m glad to be out there. I’ll have to keep the Grande Ronde in mind. My goal is to do a river in every state!
Just liked and subscribed. Accidentally came across your videos because I’m researching the Sea Eagle 380X. Your videos are awesome. Thank you for taking the time to make them. They are really educational and entertaining. Thanks Bert!
Great video. I noticed you had what looked like a inflatable cushion under your seat. Does the extra height help? Did you look at the Sea Eagle inflatable cushion?
Thanks for the comment. The cushion is actually the throwable from my pontoon boat. I have the Sea Eagle inflatable cushion, but it is smaller than the seat bottom of the black seat and moves around too much. This worked out much better, and YES, I love the added height and comfort.
Hi Shannon! I get the water levels through the Pine Creek Outfitters website. Not sure which gauge they are using. Take a look at my video from last year when we did it at 1.25'. It just wasn't very fun. To be honest I think 2.5 was even more fun than this year at high 3's.
I guessing burt that a huge portion of your fan base are into inflatable crafts whom also enjoy your commentaries during your adventure excursions. I wondering if you might still do more of those too?

Another great video. Congrats on "Bert Day". Thanks for sharing.

Thanks James! Still not sure if it is my favorite boat, but time will tell.
Glad to see a new adventure up! Happy Belated Bert Day!
Thanks so much, Mr Doe!
NICE OUTING, LV PINE CREEK IN FULL WATER HEIGHT AND FLOW.
No doubt! That was the best flow I've had on Pine Creek.

Thanks Bobby! I've been slacking on the videos this summer, but life has gotten in the way. Hopefully back on more adventures soon!
Happy Bert Day!
Much appreciated!
Where do you put in and where did you take out? Great video.
I think I discuss in the video, but we begin in Ansonia and ended at Rattlesnake Rock.
Really fun. Thanks
Hey Thanks, Scott!!!
I’m really enjoying your videos man! I’m new to whitewater also. Keep ‘em coming! And great job for your first time in a hard boat!
Thanks Wes! I have a lot planned this summer in both my inflatables and the Dagger Katana! I appreciate the support.
I got dibs on your razerlite!!!
I’d like to see information on your camping gear
Will you be doing this float again this year? I'm planning on floating it April 27th 28th.
I'm undecided if I'm gonna do Pine Creek or a multi-day trip on the North Branch Susquehanna.

Bert,
You said 1.25 ft is to low to paddle, are you getting the water levels from the gauge at Cedar Run?

@@bertsadventures9974 cool, thanks for the info. I'm looking forward to going down the Pine sometime soon.
Nice!
Way too go

Absolutely! I'm actually going on a trip this week in one of my inflatables. Thanks for that feedback.
