Keep in mind that you may need to re-calibrate the radio. Every mod I have done or seen caused the radio to be off a bit on the VFO. You can go into engineer mode and note the numbers before changing anything and make small modifications until you have the radio on frequency on all modes. If you don't have any special meters you can use a dongle and tune to the 10 / 15 MHZ and calibrate the dongle to it and then use that to get the President as close to beat as possible. if you have a good transmitter that is name brand and spot on that works as well.
@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones the rubber washers/ racket grommets are a must. Stick them to the bracket rather than the radio and it will protect the paintwork. I found green is the best display colour easy on the eyes. I reprogrammed the radio bands a to L
Press the vfo button puts a cursor under the digit you want to change I have mine in memory mode with common Freq then you can go up and down continuously.
Spot on about the first three shots.
Thanks but I don't know what you mean ?

A to L in band order from 12 meters through 11 then 10.
I used the memory Channels for short cuts to the most popular bands I use.

How do you like them? I ordered the radio and Digimic. I can’t wait to try it out
If its anything like my Icom....It probably wont "SCAN" when the squelch is open.... Will it also TX on 11M? (You know, for end of world/emergencies.)
Yes can be opened up , thanks
One question I have concerning the 1K Ohm resistor, what's the wattage? Is it 1/2 a watt? 3 watts?
The output stays standard
@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones Got it. Thank you:)
Would this the same resistor for the President Ronald?
Sorry I don't know Google it .
@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones Is there a certain direction the Resistor needs to face? or is it either direction?
