And I do agree with you as I normally like songs with a bit more to them then this, but this I wanted to make in a very particular way, and to keep it really soft and not do a lot of extra stuff....which can be hard not to do sometimes! First off thank you. It's nice to hear someone say that after trying achieve a similar tone. I believe I used Amplitube for this, but can't remember what patch I used or modified. The guitar is an Epiphone Les Paul Standard. If I'm correct, at that time I was using a Gibson '57 Classic in the neck and '57 Classic Plus in the bridge - as I still do today.

I believe it was guitar rig back in the day. I likely created a custom patch, but can't remember exactly the settings I used.
