C. Thomas Howell is always been down to earth and an amazing actor. I remember first seeing him in E.T. and always thought he was cute and a wonderful actor. He hasn’t changed a bit. Has aged like fine wine. ❤️👌🏻
I always liked C.Thomas Howell and I love how all those actor's really took such a great book and brought it to life stay gold pony boy. Amazing Film all those guys were awesome.
Because i always liked him and i know how stupid and woke things are now i am always afraid to even bring that film up, because i worry mentioning it will get it in the view of the wrong person and they will cancel for something from decades ago as they have done to others. i personally do not find it offensive at all.
Reid Rondell, the guy Thomas said punched him the rumble scene and was from a famous stunt family. died only a few years later at 22 years old in 85 filming a scene for the TV show Airwolf.
I hope that Rich reads this comment but totally don’t think or expect him to. I am part of a very little local film production team that mostly does horror films in Omaha Nebraska. Every year we go down to Kansas City to a horror convention and one year Tommy was there as a guest and I can tell you that he is a real person and in no way acted like a celebrity. He let us hang with him and we drank and did shots with him. I have no allusions to him remembering us but he talked and hung out with us and treated us as peers and friends! He had absolutely positively zero obligation to do that. It’s one thing to meet horror film actors but Tommy is a freaking legit movie star and we are essentially nobody’s but he made us feel special and important. He would never remember any of this I’m sure and that’s fine but he gave us a memory that we will remember until the second we die and we love him for it!

who would imagine that macchio after karate kid franchise came back with cobra kai; Patrick Swayze RIP road house ; Ghost ; acted in those great movies then of course Cruise; becoming a major Hollywood star Of all the characters I liked in the Outsiders was Ponyboy , he was the one that was more reasoned than the others. A great movie I always enjoy watching
Ponyboy was the heart and soul of the film. I have no idea how Howell wasn't nominated for an Oscar for his work there. He was spectacular bringing Ponyboy to life.
Unfortunately, his later output would not do as well in the theaters after "Outsiders". I loved Grandview USA but it got panned by the lousy critics. Secret Admirer was also great but the soundtrack didn't get promoted. I'll never understand how "swept away" was even put out as a movie with some of the unbelievable scenes. I wonder if even Howell thought could accept that movie as worth putting out.
Any man that gets to be a love interest to the Angelic Siren Kelly Preston in two movies in the 80s is a lucky man . C Thomas Howell did . 👀🙊🙉🙈😉😎😏🤘🤗🤠🤑🙃🤔🙄💪✨🌟💫🔥💥😍😲😐😬
I would understand why in this day and age, but I doubt he's got any regrets about doing it. He doesn't seem like the type of dude to regret work that's regarded differently now.
One of the most underrated actors out there. I loved his work in Criminal Minds.
He was truly terrifying in Criminal Minds. Showed his ability.
Absolutely. Best villain they ever had.

'has aged like fined one'? WTF
Are you insane? He looks like a crazed, 90 year old mountain man
Every time I watch the Outsiders I tell myself Dallas isn’t going to die. What a book. What a film!
Keep up the great interviews!
What is Johnny?!? Chop Meat?!
I wish this were longer. It was a great surprise to see 'Tommy' show up on Ray Donovan and The Punisher. He always brings his A game.
The Outsiders, Red Dawn. C. Thomas Howell has been in some of my favorite movies of all time! Very underrated actor.
C Thomas Howell as Jim Halsey in "the hitcher" epic!
my mother told me never to do this
I always liked C.Thomas Howell and I love how all those actor's really took such a great book and brought it to life stay gold pony boy. Amazing Film all those guys were awesome.

This guy was one of my favorites growing up in the 80s. The Hitcher scared me to death.
This guy killed it in Soul Man.
@@rosselliswilkinson I remember reading about him defending the movie, but maybe still it gets backlash...

Soul Man, awesome movie and totally stands up today.
the first movie I saw with C Thomas Howell, loved it. They couldn't make a movie like that today with everyone being so sensitive and uptight.
Great epic movies C.Thomas Howell awsome actor thanks u for my fun childhood movie watch.
I'm a third of the way through season 5 of my "Criminal Minds" series binge. He's so good, I was too pissed off to watch this clip until now.

I feel like I've seen almost most of his movies when it turns out I'd be lucky if I've seen 3 of his movies and that's being generous.
