I had the same issue, did not have a clue as to removing that KIA insignia to get to lug nuts. Not a clue in the 5,000 page service manual. Ultimately by looking at video I found it.
Hey thanks for sharing. I think you should take this video down. There’s some things very wrong with what was done that could hurt someone. The most serious is taking off all the lug nuts before jacking up the car. That wheel could have fallen off while your head was under the car looking for the jacking point! As the other commenter pointed out, it looks like your lug nuts are on backwards. The conical side should face the wheel and not you. The lug nuts should be snugged while the wheel is in air but tightened after the wheel is on the ground. This is so you don’t accidentally knock the car off the jack while tightening. Lastly, you hand put on the lug nuts in a star pattern, but they weren’t tightened in a star pattern. It doesn’t matter what order you loosen or remove the nuts. Thanks for sharing, but there’s too many things wrong here. Glad nothing bad happened here and hope everything got repaired.
First, the bolts should be completely removed once the jack is already under the car. Second, after mounting the spare tire, give the bolts a preliminary tightening, then lower the jack and tighten the bolts properly with the wheel on the ground. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Where did you find the key to remove the cover on the wheel? I can’t find it in my car
