Absolutely fantastic video for at least two reasons.
Firstly, pointing out something that should be obvious to an experienced Firestick user like myself on how to use a mouse. When by and large the third party mouse toggles are a bit hit and miss.
Secondly. The bit in the video where you lose you ship, chuck the remote in the bin. Then kick the bin for good measure. Fabulous stuff. We’ve all been there. Have purchased said Bluetooth mouse as well by the way. I’m so glad I subscribed to this channel. Many thanks 👍🏼❤️

Just got my new max 2nd gen fs today (haven't even unboxed it yet).. Saw something today that is making me wonder if it's just a waste of money & should i just return it unopened: Amazon is chucking Android & replacing with VegaOS around the first of the year? Will this mark the end of our beloved sideloading? If so i must say, it was nice while it lasted. 😭

Idk if uv heard the news but amazon will be abandoning the android based os for an in house operating system called vega os in the near future it's a Linux based web forward os with apps developed in JavaScript. I think amazon may have a problem selling these new devices if u aren't able to sideload android based applications

I don't want to use an actual mouse and have the new 4k 2nd Gen firestick the mouse toggle does not work is there a working one for the latest stick why isn't others making app alternative to mouse toggle.

I have a bluetooth trackball i used, trackball is nice cause you dont need space for dragging like a mouse. a bluetooth keyboard as also nice.

I haven't had a situation where I've needed to do this, but i assume it will as you'll be able to use a mouse click hold and move the scroll bar.

Bluetooth is built in to the Firestick so you don't need to attach a USB dongle. You can connect it as shown in the video - ruclips.net/video/iU7v41IFtug/видео.html.

There isn't as far as I know.
That right angle connector in your video (when connecting a wired usb mouse) is surely the wrong angled version since the mouse usb/wire protrudes further than the hdmi connector in the FS so making it impossible to connect the FD I to the TV HDMI. You need the opposite version to the one you show in your video
If you have problems with positioning, the HDMI extender will help.
@@FireTVSticks Thanks Tanya but my point was you can get the correct right angled connector as opposed to the one you used in your video. Thought it was worth mentioning in case there are some who might prefer the (correct) short right angled version which will in turn hide the FS behind the TV.

The OTG cable doesn't work great with the new 4K max 2nd generation especially for added storage.. Maybe not enough power..do u have any suggestions?
Reluctant to add Bluetooth mouse rather try swap my firestick for an older version of 4k max! 😡
As shown in the video, with a Bluetooth mouse you do not need an OTG cable. You need an OTG cable for a USB mouse though.

As far as I know, a software update "broke" ADB Debugging. I'm not sure if/when it will be fixed. In the interim, it's a good idea to check this out as an alternative: ruclips.net/video/9cqX5omvZrQ/видео.html.
