ah man I wish I had seen this earlier. I just got three firestick lite for the tv s in the house with the idea of running dofu because we keep getting screwed on NFL coverage on Direct and Cable as well. Of course in the process I found out I needed a mouse pointer, and then I find out it isn't working...urrrgg!!! a cheap Bluetooth mouse easy thanks

Doc All the mouses i have bought have a bluetooth dongle that has to be plugged into my laptop to be able to work. Therefore my firestick never detects any kind of mouse even with my vpn off. That sucks for me. Ive tried different firesticks and different mouses and still it is never detected.
Get an otg cable then u can add the dongle
I have that already but my luck cord is too short.
I have a logitech M550 Bluetooth mouse, connected it, and it doesn't work at all

Hi Chris I've already purchased two Bluetooth mouses and they work better than the mouse toggle because you can scroll down some of the apps you couldn't do with the mouse toggle! But you have to use the mouse in conjunction with the firestick remote to have full control of the apps 👍🏻

Yes I purchased a Bluetooth mouse for each of my firesticks so it makes it easier to connect to each device once paired 👍🏻
Make sure you buy a a Bluetooth mouse and not a cheaper slim one that only works with a USB dongle only 😉 I paid around £4.80 for each one!
Which mouse you using bud?
This is ok under certain circumstances but it’s not practical, who has a Bluetooth mouse on the sofa when there using their Firestick! If you can come up with the ability to use the Firestick remote to operate a mouse toggle or similar Doc then you will have cracked the issue.
You’ll probably find it’s a lot more practical than p***ing about with that mouse toggle 🤷♂️
Personally never had any issues with mouse toggle!

Probably have to do a Hard reset if that don’t work you will have to do a Factory Reset write down all your apps and etc

No need physical mouse. Install mouse toggle app in Android
phone version should be 1:12. Then mouse toggle app
automatic install in fire tv via adb. It's working fine in my
fire tv 3rd generation. Try this, if need any link or help

On the latest fire TV updates on devices going to fire os 8. Local adb is blocked so mouse toggle and a few other apps aren't working
