3:00 what he said was 100% true, i too was interested in TATA car in November, called showroom twice on different days they didn't show any interest in talking to me. When Ratan Tata sir is so humble, they their cars are so good, these sales and showroom people are acting like Gods. I felt I am giving business to you and this is how you are treating me? so I took a car from another brand (Renault) where the sales guy has come to my home after 1 call with test drive car, he was so patient with so many questions my wife and I had, he never acted like he is in hurry though he had other customers for test drive, i felt good and took the deliver in December. I feel it was good decision and when I take the car for service, service advisor are also very humble and helpful and respect us. They do very good job.
Good decision. During my car hunt even I felt brands like Kia, Reanult and Hyundai show more enthusiasm toward selling their car. It was average experience with Maruti and Tata ..clearly early success has got to their mind. Except punch I found all of their products are old and does not justify the premium price tag.
I have both Tata and Kia. Despite I am happy with the Tata car, I have below average experience whenever I go for Service. I used to think Kia to be good, but I knew the meaning of good service when I went with my friend for his Toyota for service and saw the difference. With this quality of service, Tata would not be able to go far however good their cars are. Some of their centers are now giving good service, but none are within 20km radius of my home.
Edit: September 2023: Sold both Tata Tigor and Kia Seltos. Now own Skoda Slavia and Renault Kiger. Getting excellent service. The Tata car had excellent safety and reliability, but bad service and the Kia had good reliability but bad safety and service. The cars I got now have been safe and service good. Both reliable so far. It was a good decision to go for these.

100% agree with the first customer. In India, Whenever some brands become too big, they start to behave rudely toward customers. They just want to sell. Nobody is focusing on the service part. I have seen it with Maruti, then Hyundai, and now TATA dealerships are also becoming like that only. Soon we will see this with Mahindra. Monopoly isn't good for customers.
As soon as they capture a good market share, they show their true colors.
Don't be a fanboy of any brand. Choose a good product. Keep the brands on a humble level.

About a month ago my uncle brother and me went to see xuv300, the salesman really rude, didn't pay any attention to us and didn't allow us to even take a test drive and said you'll have to install rs.50000 accessories from us. This is a new way of black marketing .
This is not the case for every mahindra dealer, same goes for every other brand not every dealer is rude it depends on dealer to dealer and location to location.
That's a deep thought comment. Instead of becoming a fanboy to a brand, select good product.

I saw today in my colony Zesty orange colour....it looks stunning and real eyeball graber. Undoubtedly it's fresh,charm looks and design and has decent power output with comfortable seats...but still missing some key features must have now days.

Having seen many other cars of Citroen out of India, i’ve always been a fan of their designs and that premium logo, it’s a delight to have them here and am sure the looks and that insanely hot turbo engine with light weight body is going to make enthusiasts drool over it now that polo is gone! Waiting for the delivery of my C3, booked it a month ago. Earlier I was told will get a delivery in one month but now they are saying three weeks more. It’s not from Gurgaon dealer though.
There are so many options... But very little for the people who drive two wheelers and want to upgrade to a four wheeler.

Problem is when demand is more, footfall in the showrooms are almost double of it which dealership can't handle. Secondly when brands gets established it is taken for granted that prospective buyers should be aware of the products. On the other hand prospective buyers need personal attention as mostly first time buyer. If they don't get the attention then the buying experience gets spoiled.
Tata should learn something from French company...in future I will definitely go for French brand over Nexon..if they keep up providing this type of service...i faced one serious hell out of road side assistance from TATA recently on 15 Aug.

Yes, on Features it's lacking on few things but then, if some feature is impacting your everyday ride, it should be there.
Like manual side mirror isn't adjusted very frequently so it can be kept manual. But things like Cruise control, Automatic, day and night rear view mirror are few features which are prominant..
Ravi g is it a good choice to buy over punch in terms of milage, safety, off road capability and last peace of mind for next 10 to 15 years. By the way I am driving eon since the last 7years....hope you will reply...

To much cost cutting in c3 took test ride for c3 and punch . No doubt c3 has excellent engine. But punch comes with bit more features finally I decided to go for punch 👊

Sir, the engine is the heart of any car. The manufacturer can either give you engine or features. If they try to give both, they have to compromise on safety.
The choice is yours, whether you wast fancy automatic features or an actual engine that will perform excellently.
Lastly, if you want everything, be ready to shed a couple of more lakhs.
Engine of citroen lower variants is no better than punch either. The higher variant though is comparable with altroz iturbo or nexon turbo petrol.

i noticed same thing about TATA, it feels like they are not interested in selling their car. Just to get test drive we had to call customer service and local dealers several times. We were not given cost sheet after test drive even after asking couple of times

VW, Skoda, Jeep, Citroen are known for driving and focused on the safety, driving dynamics, good quality plastics, performance, handling, Steering feedback, safety, etc. rather than focusing on features.

I had taken test drive of this car... It looks good from outside.. but from inside.. it's not comfortable .. clutch engine.. not so smooth..

but with the on road price of a little over 9 lakhs (in mumbai) for the best variant, it still does not seem to be a vfm. As other/better options open up once we cross the 9 lakh limit;, and no automatic version also

Tata is certainly not interested in selling their vehicles, though cars may be good, but their sales team behave very nasty. New companies like this will help discourage their monopoly.

Atleast we should give this brand a chance to expand. This French brand have quit a good reputation. From the day this car launched, I'm saying that tata punch and citroen c3 can be a tough contender, atleast in metro cities because I don't think citroen have traces in semi urban/rural areas yet.

*Ok is it just me or are there others thinking that providing the rear window power switches on the center just behind the gear console is the best move!*
There are actually people who are thinking this is bad??
First of all, the driver gets the control of all the windows. Who wouldn't want that? But all the switches on the car door is a BIG NO! (will cover that in my third point).
Second and the most important point, which nobody mentions or thinks is, when there are passengers in the back of your car, especially old folks and sometimes kids, who finds it difficult to lower or raise the window and they struggle to do it, you then have to lean back awkwardly and tell tem how to do it..all of which can be avoided by you just taking control of the switches.
Third and last but not least, I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY AUTOMAKERS PUT ALL THESE ELECTRONIC SWITCHES ON THE CAR DOOR, in a country that gets monsoon rains more than summer season (downpours in some places...which also begs the question why the damned SUNROOF...but that's a whole other debate). So each time, you forget to close the window or open the door for exiting, when it is pouring down, all these switches gets drenched (and do I need to say that this is one of the reason why in many vehicles the power window switches fail). SO I WOULD OPT FOR HAVING ALL THE WINDOW SWITCH CONTROLS ON THE CENTER (I think the new Santro car had it like that, but people didn't understand the significance). Just stop and use your brains people. Instead of following the crowd and finicky about not having that feature, this feature...you all should be looking at things that really matter.
*I don't know why Indians always have this mentality of "We need as much features as possible and that's it". I mean, features are good, but only if in optimum level. Think this way,..the more electronics you have the more glitches and problems you will have in future and then service and maintenance will be a back and wallet breaker, apart from the tension.* All those extra features like reverse camera, day and night rear view mirror, speaker replacement (for those who want to blast the eardrum out of people not just inside but also outside the car), arm rest, cabin and trunk lights can be added on later. To think some people would look elsewhere just because of some missing features is just too foolish. I mean, to each his own but c'mon! Yes, lack of an electronically adjustable orvm is also not great, but one can live with the lever adjust just fine easily (at least you don't have to worry about the control joystick getting stuck or getting damaged and replacing the assembly). Only problem is to adjust the co-passenger side rear view mirror, one would've to either lean over or get out of the car and do it from the other side or you can ask the co-passenger to do it (it's not rocket science and not difficult to operate like an electronic switch, so yea even a granny can operate a stick).
*To me, the rear wiper is the biggest miss (defogger is also a miss, but not a big one) and still if it is up to me, I would buy this vehicle.* To people who complain that how can the driver see the back of the vehicle, especially with the downpour, I would say, hey you can still see better than when you HAVE ALL THOSE STUFFED ANIMALS AND TOYS SPREAD OVER YOUR DARNED VEHICLE'S "PARCEL TRAY" COVERING TWO-THIRDS OF THE WINDOW! So yea, go clear that clutter first!
A trivial complaint from me would be the placement of the audio and other control switches on the steering wheel. It should've been on the LEFT side because majority of people are right handers and you would need your dominant (right) hand on the wheel while you flick through those switches with your left...not the other way round. But hey, that's just me, I don't wanna nitpick.
In the end, Whiners will always whine, fault finders will always find ways to find a fault. But the hypocrisy is when they complain about something but in reality don't get bothered by any of those in their lives. Having patriotism and national pride is great but one should also criticize and question when the so called "leaders" or forerunners in any field make mistakes. That's when you prove you are not a drone and have some level of sentience which is not forced.
*Finally I will add that - Indian people need to give more priority on vehicle stability, build quality, safety, comfort, engine performance, serviceability, maintenance, oh and suspension - when you are going over potholes or speed breakers (in a country like India having very bad roads in many states especially the Southern states - Kerala being no.1 in having the worst roads because the government there doesn't care and looks for every chance to rob) and vehicle on-road cost (here C3 has that advantage). Look of the vehicle is also important, and C3 looks stellar here, so no worries there.*
P.S. I don't work for Citroen or not an employee there (heck if I get the chance I will gladly accept). I scrutinize every single vehicle company and their offerings. I try to be as unbiased as much as possible. I try to be not a "fan boy" of anything living or non-living. I don't worship any celebrity (still don't understand why in this country they are allowed in ever single Advertisements...Jeez! leave that job to the professionals and models who work their a33 off,.. you entitled money grubbing aholes). Peace!

This PR thing is fine but the fact is basic requirements are not there... electronic external mirrors control is a basic requirement nowadays. This car looks nice from exterior, but from inside looks really cheap

it is a great product and i appreciate and applaud for brands really thinking about under 10lakhs cars now with so many options in 2022 it's amazing tho I'm even skeptical for it's long term usage for atleast like 10years or so since most of the people don't change cars in every 3 years like uncle said or 5 years to be precise so yeah if you're a one intrested in latest tech and all definitely a car to buy out or people where the service availability isn't an issue .

Jab Citoren ke customers ek badh jaynge to ek level k baad kya company ke liye service-on-wheels possible reh payga? Ya tab customers ko lamba waiting period suffer karna padega.. and spare parts ya outside dealer accessories is new brand ki easily available he kya market me? These are my major 2 concerns going for this brand.. otherwise car looks brilliant in design, space and has competitive pricing..
Similar incident happened with me in Kia showroom. No 1 is there to attend there and when I approach the counter they asked us to wait 15/20 minutes. So we left the showroom
