I remember looking at this game and beeing stunned by the graphics. And now i'm sitting here and realizing that i looked way better in my memories. Still awesome graphics for that time.
It aged really well to be honest. If we got textures and shaders from Xbox 360 ver which is much more like Carbon with the way it renders stuff got better lighting.
It took me years to realise how good the sounds are compared to modern racing games

DerÖsiFlo NFS2015 has terrificly bad way of playing engine sounds just like Gran Turismo 6, when you gearshift it just replays the acceleration sound, no clutching no rev muching no moan of the engine from these things.....it just fuckin replays......

Martin Jalukse same for PS2 and Xbox. If you had an UG2 save file or the memory card/unit, you would earn an extra 10K. I'm not sure about XB360 since UG2 is backwards compatibility.

The game in total has 38 cars. That is the 32 stock ones, BMW M3 GTR Race and Bonus Cars (911 GT2, C6.R, Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG, M3 GTR Street and 1967 Camaro with the latter two being BE exclusives).
This game have more than 38 cars. There are also player variants pf traffic cars and police cars(Crown Victoria, GTO, C6.R and Supercharged SUV)
But the new one has 44 cars 2015 version

Fun fact: The sound of the M3 GTR is really from TVR Cerbera 4.2. ruclips.net/video/0vZSX9tKc0k/видео.html&t. Plus for some reason in NFS MW 2005 exist the exact same sound with different name like GIN_TVR_Cerbera.gin and GIN_TVR_Chimeara.gin (tvr_cerb_a/tvr_chim_a). The Chimeara one was used by the street version while the race the Cerbera version.

@@WSP_DS12 Yeah it had but Black Box only used it for the cutscenes (only there you can hear the very real P60B40 sound). But again still more accurate to the P60B40 than the beta sound that was from Porsche 928 (GIN_Porsche_928.gin - por_928v8_a).
Even this sound if it is not from P60B40 still it sounds closer to the P60B40 than even the Heat's M3 GTR sound that is from S65B40.
I mean some cars were obvious that they were using random sounds for example the Punto and Evo are using sounds from Honda S2000, Supra/IS300 - G35/350Z. Audi TT - BMW M3 E46, Renault Clio V6 - TVR Tuscan/BMW M3 E46 etc.
But from all cars the car with the most wrong sound is the CTS. How the hell they thought putting Ford Focus and Chevrolet Cavalier sounds were great idea when the CTS never had option with I4 (only options from 2.6L V6 - 3.6L V6) and only the CTS-V had 5.7L V8 - 6.0L V8).
Fun fact: I don't understand why the C6 Corvette 2005 GTO and Monaro are using 3 different sounds like the GTO is using (GIN_Ford_Mustang_GT_B.gin - for_must_b), the Monaro is using (GIN_BMW_M5.gin - bmw_m5_a) and the C6 Corvette (GIN_Corvette_Z06.gin - for_mustgt_c - yes that is how it is called for some reason) if they use the same 6.0L V8 (LS2). And all of them sound like a Mustang except the Corvette.
Some sounds were questionable but at least 1 great thing even if they are not accurate still the sound processing in NFS MW 2005 is way better than FH4.

This is 2005 game and Koenigsegg Regera appeared in 2015. It can`t be from Koenigsegg Regera because this car didn`t exist in 2005. I think you are confused with "Mustang" sound.

But for some reason in the recent NFS by Black Box the engine sound of the Ford GT (for_gt_a_eng) is unused and it unstead it is either used the sounds of the Koenigsegg CCX in NFS Pro Street/Undercover and in NFS World/The Run (I think) the Ford GT40 sounds were used but not the one from NFS Carbon. I wonder why.

Funny how the GTO/Monaro is using Mustang sounds while it is supposed to use the Corvette sounds since the GTO/Monaro are using the same 6.0L V8 (LS2) as the C6 Corvette not the Z06. The C6 Z06 is using 7.0L V8 (LS7).
