@@ViruX93 i played this on ps2 and we werent able to see drivers but now i thought the same this is ridiculous.
Dude there was a special feeling i felt in the 5th grade when i got this game. I would stare at the clock the whole day waiting for 2:45 to run to my buss and wait a shitty 15 minute ride home and the run from my buss stop to my house into the living room and put my hands on the controller. And then, to hear that PS2 sound. The feeling is better than love and indescribable. I've never felt the same way since. Nothing gives me that joy like those days did. It's kind of sad.
I still remember JV's intro, expecting him to do some fancy drifting to get on my side, and then realising the race was going to start with we facing each other, and thinking that was extremely badass.

As strange as it is, why do I find that to be a pretty cool storyline?
Somehow you manage to keep your BMW, but seeing how good it is, Razor went ahead and tried to _replicate_ your car and find a lot of success against the Blacklist until he rises to the top.
Only true legends beat this game by using Cobalt SS throughout the entire game.

I love how literally everyone has a flamboyant intro but Jewels', JV's, Bull's and Razor's intros are actually tense.
When the Razor cutscene plays, you can see on the BMWs reflection you're actualy driving an Audi A4 3.2 FSI Quattro.

Idk why, but I beat that race in like four tries. The hardest for me was Ming's speedtrap
I still remember when me and my friend would exchange stories trying to beat him every morning at school. The best one was when Earl actually flipped on his roof near the finish for my friend, but he was so tilted racing him and thought he had already lost that figured he'd smash into him for revenge. My guy pushed him over the line and lost XD

I loved Ming's intro because Ming was supposed to be a pro who was all function over form and who won his Lambo from some big talking rich kid, his intro was basically showing that he was winning races all the time before getting to you.

The greatest heaven is when u get ming's car. It is fully upgraded but 1 upgrade Is missing. Just spend $5000 on ming's car for upgrade and it's easy to defeat razor :)

For you.they're actually the easiest.
It was the most easiest, since in the other long races, I always worried about making a mistake at the end causing the opponent to surpass me and win, basically wasting the entire 5-6 mins -_-

This defined what NFS games should be, I love the little cutscenes and big props to Carbon for taking cutscenes to a new level, but MW was revolutionary for the time. The new NFS HEAT has good racing, but sorely misses cutscenes for night races (would suit them) and Pro Street like commentary for day time races. I wouldn't mind F1 2019 style interviews and campaign mode for the day time races either. It could be more professional during the day. Now it's just the same as night races just without they cops. I hoped for more with HEAT but it's a good game and hopefully they add more stuff to it in the future, cause right now there is no endgame, nothing to really do.
Gosh these blacklist races were so climatic and filled with tension. Each one felt important to beat.

Big Lou, Baron, JV, and Ronnie have THE coolest race entrances hands down. Big Lou with his posse, Baron with that sweet flat-6 rev, JV with the wild west showdown and that glorious V10, and Ronnie mostly because of the song and with you slowly rolling up to the start line like a badass. So very good.
