When you first said, "I think it's time for bed", Flynn's face and stance with the hand on the hip and the legs crossed is everything.
Flynn is the most adorable little soul. It was so strange seeing him hold the camera to his face in a similar manor to how you do, remembering back to when he'd try to take the camera and film the floor or try to put it in his mouth. He's grown so much in such a short amount of time.
Or when he'd grab the camera and just say "BABEH" over and over 😂

I love how much Wesley laughed in this video. I know his teething was a big reason he wasn’t laughing as much before. But wow!! Flynn running around that tree!! That was so fun. And YES!!! Give me a chocolate Frosty and some hot Fries!! I’ve never put my fry on the spoon of Frosty before. But if I get just a Frosty, something is missing. Dip that hot fry and get it to your mouth before it melts off. Soooo yummy !!

Colleen of course your kids are funny creative and just amazing. That totally describes you and Erik. Genuinely from what I know of you after many years and a little of Erik apart from being both amazing singers/guitar and piano players extremely funny creative I could totally see it in Flynn happening before my eyes but now watching Maisey and Wesley you can see there little personalities evolving and those laughs are magic. Every time they make me hysterical.
I totally agree with Erik about Flynn his mind is out of this world. No matter what Flynn does it will be epic and the babies probably won’t be far behind.

Hi Colleen I have no doubt that you are extremely attentive while watching your kids, but just a tip with those magnetic toys- keep count of how many of each magnet ball you have! They’re super easy to get lost in like a cushion or under the couch, and I work at a hospital and have seen some catastrophic outcomes with babies finding them and ingesting them by accident!

It's absolutely the mix of salty and sweet that makes it awesome. Those two aren't usually paired together, so I think my brain likes it because it's different from everything else and other food pairings. And texture too; if the fries are crispy you get crispy and soft/creamy at the same time.

I feel like Parker! He is so energetic and always is up for anything. Then also a little bit of Duncan bc ik he can get shy at times. So I would say Duncan but once you get to know him Parker if that makes sense. Haha

TTQ: okay please stay with me while I try to explain/ask the best I can, how did you and Erik grow into the relationship you have today? I know that's a big hard question to answer but my parents have always been apart and I have never had that representation of what love looks like in a couple. What green flags are worth noting in a good partner? you both melt my heart cause I feel the love for each other even through a screen. okay, I love you both thank you for everything!!!
That’s such a beautiful question! I know you asked Colleen but as someone in a long term relationship I feel like I could help! Green flag for sure is someone who is generous just bc and doesn’t look for the transaction in everything. A relationship isn’t about measuring each other’s contributions (it’s very popular to talk about financially contributing 50/50 when that’s not all a relationship is about) but each putting in 100% to love, respect, and support each other. someone who is actively supportive in all aspects of your life not just in the relationship (this might be more for a more established relationship but also speaks to the generosity point above. for ex my fiancé is someone I can talk to when I have issues with my family, career or friends and will give very helpful advice on how to move forward with the current problem or right now I’m about to have a job interview and he’s helping me practice with said interview and not just wishing me good luck).
But something that can be seen early on is if someone is open to feedback - that’s HUGE! Nobody likes someone who is overly defensive or lacks self awareness of their impacts on others. Another thing that can noted early on is if they take initiative to spend time with you and how excited they are to see you and learn about you.
However you must also be all these things too.
Another thing to note is that it can take time to cultivate the relationship, and don’t expect to have the perfect dynamic immediately. Hope that helps!
