Thanks for your help! I was worried because I'm in Australia and my 2006 Pathfinder is Right Hand Drive and I thought maybe the filters wouldn't be in the same location, but they were there right behind the glove box. Thanks again.
Just got a 2011 Pathfinder 2 weeks ago. First car I"ve had with a cabin filter. While this looks easy enough, it also looks like a bit of a pain in the axx... If I wasn't so cheap, I'd just take it in and have it done. I live in the country, on a dirt/gravel road and just very dusty. So I figure I'll be doing this one pretty frequently. Anyway, thank you for the video, least I know what to expect and can anticipate at least 5 F bombs getting dropped.
Does anyone knows is there is separate air fileter for the REAR SYSTEM? The reason I'm asking is because recently my front system stopped working and the reason was that the two filters behind the glove compartments were litteraly completely clogged with all kind of debree. That made blower motor to fail and trigger two 15A fuses to burn under the hood. So I know there was no way that rear motor was using the same filters.
Can a dirty cabin air filter be the cause of MY heat not seeming to be blowing OUT hot air in my 2005 Pathy? I can feel the blower motor is working, and it's hot, just no air coming thru the vents but it's not kicking out heat. Seems like something is plugging it up.
Check your level when it is cold. Make sure the radiator is filled up. Do not check when it's hot. Then go over to the Overflow Reservoir and fill it about an inch or so above high.
Thanks I just wanted to check if it was behind the glove box and as I’m familiar with Nissan I l ow it’s better to ask then dive straight in , I looked in the manual and it said take it to an authorised Nissan dealer so one of our apprentice mechanics can fk it up and make it worse lol
100% it is stupied and everything on Nissans is designed to take it to a mechanic even the oil filter , I just bought this wagon for my son and looked it up in the service manual and it said take to a mechanic so I RUclipsd it that’s why I’m here , all my cars are Nissan as I’m to cheap to buy Toyota and I’m really starting to re think my choices
You did a great job, thanks for doing this. I had a 2006 Pathfinder needing a new filter. It should really help the AC and heating.
Thanks for the Video. Big help to replace it!
Very informative and well done....thanks!

Thanks for the video, mine didn’t even have the cover to the filters area 😅
Gracias amigo
What size screw for that? Mine is missing too.

Check the heater switch and the cabin air filters maybe the thermostat valve is bad or the heater core is clogged check for leaks
Can that help my ac

K&n now makes a cleanable reusable one
Thank you I did not know there was a another air filter my Nissan Pathfinder. I know my filter got to extremely dirty LOL.
Wonder what a mechanic shop charges to do this?
$125/hr for labor even if it's a 10 minute job
@@GuerreroDelInfo I did it myself because you made this video. Thank you for helping a single, childfree lady.
Great video but Nissan did a horrible design job for this truck. I’ve replaced many different types of cabin filters but damn Nissan. Stupid design
