Great work, so good to watch someone who isn’t an vastly experienced ‘expert’ that said your work so far looks amazing. It gives complete novices like me more confidence to give it all a try. I literally only have a 8 x4 Frame worked Sundeala board and a pile of track I’m experimenting with.
Wratting Road if you Google Earth ‘Freightliner Maintenance, Leeds’ you can zoom in on a small container depot and sidings, with a maintenance depot on the side of the M62 near Leeds which I drive past occasionally. Hope it helps ! 👍 Gordon
Looks great Jack, nice use of filler that. The paint works really well blending all those washes together. I like the potholes, i'd never have thought about adding woodland scenics gravel chippings to the top of the holes. Alex
Looks the part Jack. You've really nailed those pot holes, every technique you used compliments one another so well. Glad my tips helped you in the right direction and even better to see your own touches added to take it up a notch. Great stuff.
You've made a great job of that car park the weather it is fantastic here is a little tip for you you're matchsticks if you put some vaseline on the side where your filler goes it will not stick and your matchsticks will just come away I hope you like my little tip cheers Gordon
Great job Jack the car park is looking fantastic! I really like what you've done with the potholes. I feel your pain with the polyfiller, this week I've got plaster bandage and filler everywhere lol. All the best Geoff
Fantastic looking tarmac! Polyfiller is my 'go to' material for all sorts of projects but I haven't tried it for tarmac areas. My thoughts were to use it for a hard-standing for the engine shed area, to a similar technique you have used.
Looks amazing your doing a top job 😊👍🏻👍🏻 Just an idea you could use a few drops of clear nail varnish or glosscote in a couple of pot holes to look like puddles 👍🏻😊😊
Great job, looks a treat, so glad you blended the tones smoothing them slightly and added just a few potholes. Less is more here. Can I suggest just few weeds in couple of pot holes and odd place here and there in cracks.
Is that a Norfolk back road I see with its many potholes 😂. Really like what you've done with the weathering on the tarmac it looks realistic and it's very subtle in effect Keep up the good work Jack and stay safe James

At this moment I only can say: “what a crap”. But I’m convinced that the finalizing will be great. Look forward to see ur next video. Grtz from the Netherlands.
The car park is looking good so far well done.

@@belsteadlanemodelrailway Your right, a lot of low priority roads are just chippings pressed into the surface.

It’s something I used to use before woodland scenics was big over here on my old layout and dioramas and warhammer 40k remember less is more 😉👍🏻👍🏻

Any new video soon. Getting curious how you will solve the crap I wrote above. 😜👍🏻

Are you going to have a portacabin in the car park ???
I could take a photo of my local NR depot and their car park if you like?
Needs broken glass empty coke cans and contents of fly tipping
Any new video coming up yet
