I am seriously considering this . I have a large job and need a second hvlp unit.. I currently have a fuji q4, but this unit looks very tempting... especially price wise. where is it made ?
future customer for sure. After much thought, this is the best system for no-booth painting at home (talking automotive) If it's slower, i'm fine with that. The reduced overspray, clean air, no moisture concerns. Some have recommended changing reducer due to heated air and working closer than with a traditional compressed air gun. Hope to get one soon after I move
A year later, I finally ordered one. Should be here within a week. I have used a 4 stage for automotive base coat and it worked out fantastic. Clear coat with the 4 stage was peely. So I cut and buff. Will see if the Sprayfine 5 stage can handle the clear coat better.
my dad bought one of these and got in it the mail today. When he turns the machine on the gun keeps blowing air out. we were wondering if this is supposed to happen or not. Let me know ASAP please
Yes, it can spray latex paint. You can view our youtube video on spraying latex with the Sprayfine A301 turbine system. Type "sprayfine latex" in the search block.
Yes, but the cup only holds 1 quart of paint, which covers about 50 square feet of surface. So you would be refilling the cup many times. You could use a remote pressure pot to cover a larger area, or you could rent an airless sprayer which will cover a large area very easily.
The complete system with 3-stage turbine is $450.00, the complete system with 4-stage turbine is $550.00. All systems and components are available in my web store: www.turbineproducts.com
The guns are garbage. I have the stage 3 and it's fuse is blown and there is no easy way to change it. Called customer service and left a message. The turbine unit is quite the workhorse so I can't be mad about the thousands of sqft I've Refinished bc of the stage 3. Just be wary of the guns bc I had 2 of them break within 60 days!!! of purchase. Super cheap metal components as BOTH guns broke below the nut and the actual cap was broken underneath. Even when I explained this to the rep, I was told😡 "No returns replacements, etc. You'll just have to buy to buy new ones, as its been over 2 weeks since your purchase! and I did, got Wagner conversion guns instead. So as a company that sprays 1000s of tubs, counters, cabinets and tile bathrooms yearly, thumbs up on the unit itself just save yourselves the headache of the cheap poor quality spray guns
Actually "Kasey," your comment is disinformation as all of our guns carry a LIFETIME warranty. And although we switched from fuses to circuit breakers on our turbines many years ago, we do supply replacement fuses for free. Any customer of mine knows immediately that your comment is false. We service everything that we make/sell.
I have used these for some time. Work great and unbelievable customer service.
Yes, it is a bleeder gun, air is supposed to flow continuously, regardless of whether the trigger is pulled or not.
How does this spray painter work with 2pack paints (epoxies)?

Yes, I recommend using slow speed reducer and using 50% more reducer than the paint manufacturer calls for.
I'm looking at a Sprayfine 5 stage. Did you end up getting one? If so, how has it worked out?
