We need better covers for the pipework that connects to the rad as it looks awful alongside a new radiator - especially this one. Shame they don't make pipecovers to match such a lovely radiator. Or do they?
Question , (btw love your videos) Rather than draining the full system, why not locked each radiator on same level and on first floor , including around the boiler pipe work, so as not to lose as much water (with Sentinal/protection lose too ) ? Assume it’s because of air locks around system especially at first floor level?
my definition of dry jan is try and not to do any plumbing.-.-.-.-.-.-then i get a bathroom and kitchen and full radiator replacement .-.-.-.- im thinking I might need to mailorder that 52 lol
I genuinely don’t think a towel rail is needed anymore if we are having heatpumps forced on us , the lower temp flow , stops Towel rails getting warm , many are forced to use an electric inverter versions , this isn’t a problem with radiators usually where the volume area is sufficient to warm the towel and room without secondary heat
Is it possible/functional to install new radiator in a 10mm "circuit" using 15 mm?? Copper....ie...will go 20mm...to unaccessible 10mm. to new 15 mm????
Hope you enjoyed gang!

Why didn't you position the new rad, drill the holes ready and then paint the wall, so you could mount the rad before the paint had fully dried?
Nice one Jimmy
😎🤜👍
Why didn’t you do the boiler install?
Why not use the radiator to drain the system??
How would you redo the magnaclean to avoid the airlock potential?
Take one of the 90s off and put in a 22mm 15mm 22mm reduced end tee then put a automatic blead valve on me thinks should do the job
You ever thought off signing up to learn plumbing?
Fantastic job
Thank you very much!

James.. The way the filter is filled it’s going to air lock.🙈🥴
James …. Bye the way the system is filthy…you would wonder if the filters working 🙈🥴
Yeah I know. I ring the guy up who installed the boiler and politely asked him to rectify it!
Did the door open ok?
Does he realise that it wont give off much heat when its got a towel on it
Those pipes look awful
