Also now that we got Fnaf into the pit it's honestly funny now that other games did a better job in creating what Hello neighbor was suppose to be (aside from the learning AI part)

Also now that we got Fnaf into the pit it's honestly funny now that other games did a better job in creating what Hello neighbor was suppose to be (aside from the learning AI part), even Markiplier enjoy it to the point he was willing to beat it on it's hardest difficulty (he was still a bit pissed off that he wasn't able to three star it but still enjoy it)

Honestly, I’ll always praise the Pre-Alpha and Alpha 1 builds of Hello Neighbor, because they were actually scary and living up to its concept than whatever in gods name the full game was.

Little Hello Neighbor fact: They released an update that added a bunch of hints to the puzzles, such as boxes with printed instructions and stuff like that. One of those hints was changing the color of the freezer to be red, because apparently that is supposed to indicate that you need to put the globe in the freezer in order to freeze the pool of water in the house. Obviously.

I still don’t understand why the hello neighbour devs made an achievement for waiting for 3 hours, like why would you want to force players to play for more than 15 minutes
so that you can’t refund it
Over half of the achievements require you to go out of bounds so I think that says something (There is an intended way to go out of bounds but you still need to travel throug that empty wasteland to go to all the achievement spots)
@@lirachonyr this is on the same level as that race with ryan car unlock that blatantly required spending 2 hours in the game

Well Balan's concept wasn't that good even if you could jump with a costume. There's just way too many costumes, making most powers boring to use. Quality > quantity, hence why Mario games stick to a small handful of power ups in each game.

@@squidfungus4001 like we have games that manage to capture what Hello Neighbour (aside from the learning AI) and the most time consuming thing to do is the gum ball machine mini game and even then worst case scenario it’s probably only 15 minutes.

Just an interesting thought, Astrobot copied the costume system from Balan wonderworld but heavily improved upon it to the point its actually fun
I found a physical Balan wonderworld for 3 dollars because no one wants it
Worth noting that Hello Neighbor alphas had a more sophisticated neighbor AI that would pop out of unexpected places, an INTEGRAL selling point of the game at the time, that was almost completely BROKEN on 1.0.
Alpha 2 and 3 were lacking this though, I feel like the game ditched this idea immediately

With Balan the chapter order made no sense to me at all, like why is the last chapter a man feeling invisible because he's cleaning up after everyone else.. whilst a couple chapters ago we witnessed a girl nearly lose her cat to a car crash and a woman losing her parents in a fatal accident to the point she went into a state of depression and be close to death herself? Like pardon?
