First time watching one of your videos. You did a fine presentation. It was somewhat refreshing listening to something other than a good ole boy accent. Barehead means there are bolsters on the pivot end only. No brass at the bottom. To pilfer means to steal, so theft is what the tape is supposed to help prevent. You will be able to see if it has been tampered with at the least. Lastly, your accent and tone brought to mind Marcel Marceau. When he was talking anyway. I think their quality control sucks! I love their products but I havent had one that didnt come with some sort of a defect (not affecting their function) but something like scratch or a small dent or discoloration...
