Second time making this dish this week. We harvested a bunch of cauliflower from our garden over the weekend. My wife and kids loved this dish. I doubled it and added a bit too much water the first time, but still came out great!
@@fae4652 use pressure cooker, and cook it for 5 minutes on full heat, with half cup of water and all spices added together...it will be very soft and tender....
Good recipe, it was tomatoey the Garam masala, and the coriander powder gave it a floral, sweet taste. It was very tangy and had nice punch of garlic. ##
Just made this and it was very good, but I will use half the amount of tumeric next time...but will include the chilies (I didn't this time because my dad doesn't like spicy food) :D Thank you!
No denotes Number Nos denotes Numbers Yes, you definitely can, but make sure not to overcook the cauliflower. Frozen ones tend to go very soft if over cooked.

U can add tomato later or separately cooked tomato 🍅 if u wish as, any sour ingredient will slow cooking of potato 🥔 . Boiled potato is a great option.
1 and 3/4 cup of water according to me is too much. Or you need to cook for 20 mins instead of 10. Next time I'll try with 1 cup water and see how it goes.
Just a tip which I tried and came out well... Is boil cauliflower florets and potato small cubes separately before with little salt itself . Add once after powder addedand in lowest flame cook for another 4 minutes without water...
This recipe isnt that good…theres no curry powder theres no ginger powder Im making it tonight and there is ZERO flavour I had to look up other recipes to give this dish some actual flavour…you wanna make this dish I highly advise you to look up what other spices go into Aloo Gobi
CURRY POWDER??? GINGER POWDER???? We don’t use those powders in Indian cuisine? We use fresh ginger and separate spices, like coriander powder, Cumin powder and Fresh ginger!

Hello Dasarathi Sabat. We've made note of your request and we will come up with a recipe for it soon. Happy Cooking!
I'll give this a whirl later 😁
I think better to add boiled potatoes instead. In 10 mins, the cauliflower will cook but raw potato will not.
Chopping is on point
i've never had potatoes cook in 10 mins, what am i doing wrong? i do use a lot more potatoes than shown in the video, is that the reason?
