I actually literally done this right after the video! 😂 means I can let go of the other copy for anyone that wants it really - such a shame as fairyloot are usually so good with their dust jackets 💕
Zhara hurt a little bit, I have to admit. Is it a 5 star? No. Did I still enjoy it and laugh myself silly at a very thinly veiled pop culture reference? YES XD One thing it's synopsis doesn't go into is it's kind of a Cinderella-inspired story (and I think the next one, Ami, is Beauty and the Beast inspired). Also: I read the entire Shadow of the Fox trilogy this year, and it was SO GOOD. For someone like me that grew up watching Inuyasha and other anime, it was so much fun because I knew some of the demons mentioned in it. It also had some turns I didn't quite expect, but didn't mind.
Ok now you’ve made me want to keep it 😂 maybe I’ll try and read it before being too hasty! Oh that’s so good to hear! I keep forgetting about it because it’s at the back of my shelves but this has made me excited to pick it up soon! 💕
For unhauling, I usually try to do it as I read. If I felt "meh" about the book, I don't care how stunning it is, I'll put it in my unhaul pile. If it's the first one in a series, I usually give until the second book. If the second book isn't great either, then away it goes. Also if it's a book I haven't even touched in about 2 years, it usually goes. I'm trying to get better at buying books that genuinely interest me, so I try to read the first chapter in the store to get a feel for it. And then about once a year I organize my shelves again and do a massive unhaul of books I know I'm not going to re-read, books that were okay but deserve a better home, and books I'm just no longer interested in.
Yes this is pretty much the same as me but I tend to hold on to books far too long when it’s obvious I’m just not that interested in it so I’m definitely trying to be better at that! I always feel guilty for not reading it but at the same time it’s better going to the library and someone actually reading it than it just sitting on my shelves 🤷🏻♀️
I’m trying to be better at only buying books that I really want and normally unhaul books if I haven’t read them after 2 years. But there are so many great books out there! Love your vlogs ❤x
Thank you so much lovely! And yes I’m trying to be so careful when I’m buying books now because I feel so guilty when I don’t end up reading them! But if I don’t read them I always donate them to the library so it makes me feel a bit better 😂💕
Yeah I just haven’t been drawn to Voyage of the Damned for some reason, haven’t heard anyone talk about it but if someone loves it they can have my pretty edition 😂. Are you in the UK? Let me know if you are and I could get them to you just for postage cost 💕
Yeah I feel like even if I read them, for me personally its likely they will not be anywhere near 5 ⭐️ so better for someone who enjoys them to make use of them- I love donating to the library because it’s likely they wouldn’t buy books like this for their standard stock
You could switch the dust jackets on the Sword Catcher. That way, you can have the sprayed edges you prefer with the original cover.

I love a good unhaul video. I am also trying to be more careful about what books I buy. 🍁
Honestly me too! I genuinely always intend to read what I buy but it doesn’t always work out lol And unhauling is actually very therapeutic 😂
No because what is it with books based at sea!! I feel the exact same way and I have no idea why 😂😂
😂 right like why am I so prejudice about them! I need to get over that lol
The Scarlett St Clare series are getting new covers in January and it's character covers, keep hold of those covers for now lol.
Ooh that’s so good to know! 👀💕
I also think I’m going to let go of Voyage of the Damned and Zhara. Omg I want that editions of A River Enchanted

I also got rid of the books emily mcintire because I'm not a dark romance girlie
