It's been years since I read Uprooted, but I remember really enjoying it! I'd say writing-wise it will be similar to Spinning Silver, because they're both vague fairytale retellings. Also, Gideon the Ninth is SO GOOD, but be prepared to be absolutely confused until the end...and even then still question it XD I've got a huge TBR as well, from autumnal/spooky romance ("The Pumpkin Spice Cafe," "You, Again," and "My Roommate is a Vampire") to YA thriller/horror ("Where Sleeping Girls Lie," "Young Gothic," "The Invocations"), witchy ("The Manningtree Witches," "The Once and Future Witches," "Her Majesty's Royal Coven," and "Weyward,") and even some middle grade spooky/horror ("The Clackity," "Scritch Scratch," "The Graveyard Book," and "Shadowhall Academy").
Wow ok your TBR sounds amazing! I have You again and My roommate is a vampire as well - totally forgot about them 😂🙈 but I’ll likely reach for them to break up the heavier reads! Ive heard that about Gideon the ninth and it makes me even more intrigued to read it! Definitely one I think I’ll need to really focus on ti get the gist of what’s going on but it sounds so fun! 💕
Lady Macbeth was...good. The writing was lovely but there was something about the depiction of LAdy Macbeth that kept me from loving it. This could also be because I love Macbeth so I went into it with some bias. The Secret History is in my top 5 of all time but I also acknowledge it isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea...
Oooh ok that’s so interesting r.e. Lady Macbeth! Maybe because I’m hazy on the details I’ll enjoy it more but I do remember reading it in school so the details may come back to me while I’m reading this 😂. I’m so excited for The Secret History, I really think I will love it but I’m trying not to go in with too high expectations so I don’t ruin it! But that’s encouraging that you rate it so highly! 💕
❤📚❤️ So many great Fall books!!
I’m so excited for fall reading! 🍂🍁💕
Uprooted is one of my favorite books. It’s spooky, gothic fairytale vibes
Ooh this makes me even more excited to pick it up! I love her writing so hoping to love this one 💕

I want to read the Legends of Thezmarr so badly but I told myself I won't do it before I finish The Witch Walker series first😁
Very sensible! Should I be starting new series? Absolutely not, but I’m going to! 😂😂😂 I can’t wait to read it’ 💕
