Can’t beat Sun country, Thers a low profile 53ft Sun country 12k axles, way more sturdy. This mesh is pretty much like Kaufman mesh, it’s gonna crack over time, punched holes is the way to go. I’m actually looking for a Sun country.
Ok, the problem with this trailer on a 3500 is the excessive weight at 9700 lbs. About 4 ft in front of the rear wheels, the trailer shifts about 46% of the cargo weight into the truck and increases as you move closer to the truck. If have this load, he is running over the max rear axle weight of $9900 lbs. If he is stopped and mat weighed, he will have to take off cars. The 4500 has a 10500 rear, but depending on load you can over run that with this trailer. If you want this, buy a 5500, or just buy a 4 car double decker and make more money with less chance of rear axle overrun.
@10TowsDownTowing actually a 4 car behind a 3500 is ok as long as it is tge right 4 car and you don't overload. I actually own River City Trucks and we lease trailers for hotshot car hauling. We know all about what works and behind what.
@par8920 the mesh decks on these trailers are very heavy duty. It would take a lot of vertical pulling to damage them, so they are pretty safe. We have a number of mesh deck trailers and never an issue. The mesh is an advantage because it has multiple tie down points allowing for many different tire and vehicle widths and lengths.
That driver wasn't too sure what the owner paid. Plus he might have gotten it right before all the latest steel surcharges came into effect. I'm not sure. It's nit my trailer. I'd love to have one tho
@@10TowsDownTowing I honestly added the winch, 14play tires, upgraded axles with electric controlled disc brakes, upgraded ramp, and both front, back extentions. I got the hitch crafter 5th wheel, I am thinking of getting the transferflow 100 gallon tank. My only problem is finding those diamond plates, mud flaps, etc….
@@10TowsDownTowing I would love a similar set up like yours. Do you know where I can order those diamond plates, mud flaps and stuff ? I live in California
@@10TowsDownTowing Hey man. I am about to hit the roads. What straps do you recommend ? I got myself vulcan over the tire straps. Just 4 of them. The guys in Ohio giving me a brand called myTee, and B/a brand

@@diyarpolat1099 Mytee is good stuff. I order from there often
Whats the weight & how does the 3500 pulls with it?
I'm not sure what the trailer weighs. I'd assume 6500 pounds or so. Its definitely built strong.
