My story is that I rarely eat, maybe one medium meal a day at dinner - but over 20 years, I put on a lot of weight (maybe 80lb) mainly due to an amputation and inability to do cardio. I tried diets, I tried keto, I tried OMAD, eliminating sugar - nothing worked.
I started lifting dumbells a few months back - and started adding a protein isolate twice a day.
Goodness - the weight is falling off. I suspect it’s the higher protein from the whey, but, also the added Aminos in the blend. As I understand, Leucine/Isoleucine trigger the body to process proteins as lean muscle.
We love to hear that lifting & adding more protein into your diet got you on the right track with improving your body composition. Kudos, keep going! We are rooting for you.
I use them during my workout because I can't fit enough actual food into my stomach to meet my protein needs
Understandable here! If you need help with hitting your protein goals, we have a video all about protein and 2 recent full day of eating for some ideas!
@@PhysiqueDevelopment thanks!
No excuse i eat till i puke then my body adapted and now i can eat more
What if the protein intake isn’t up to the mark? Will this be helpful during workouts then ?
If total protein consumption is low, I would imagine taking BCAA/EAAs becomes more useful during your training.
@@PhysiqueDevelopment got it. Thank you so much
I started using bcaas because i am 6'4 225-230lbs and with me still trying to stay in a calorie deficit, fitting all that protein in my diet is pretty hard. Can anyone weigh in on if this is a good idea?
The Body stores EXCESS protein as FAT. Once you start excreting protein through the urination process, you're at your excess level.. Your Testosterone will utilize the protein for muscle growth. Overloading will start the beginning of the huge Belly and bloated look if you're NOT putting in the work ( Resistance Training )
you still need enormous amount of protein excess to convert it into any significant fat amount and it's almost impossible to consume that much protein. You basically cannot get fat from protein, the molecules are just waaaaaay too different
Can bcaa hurt you if you take it too much or if you get your protein?
Yes. You run the risk of excess protein in your body, causing fat cells to multiply.
@@thespy7795excess protein goes away in your urine
No they can't hurt you. Most BCAA powders are between about 30-40 calories of protein. Taken intra workout there is _some_ research that indicates they can assist in muscle recovery.
Bcaa is good for weight loss time ?????
It can be helpful, but it certainly isn't a necessity.
Yes. It is.
@@PhysiqueDevelopment it is absolutely a necessity. 🤡
@@PhysiqueDevelopmentDrinking isn’t necessary to have fun but it sure freakin helps!!!! Lol
Which better amino acid or bcaa? For runner. Pls help
do you regularly get in enough protein?
Same thing
EAA OR BCAA
We would recommend EAAs over BCAAs!
@@PhysiqueDevelopment Thank you! 👍
No, it's not necessary
Yup, we are on the same page!
@@PhysiqueDevelopment the fools page! 🤡
BLATANTLY LIES. Been an athlete all my life. B.C.A.A.s are ESSENTIAL!
Hey, Allen - this is just a short, and the full video has us going more indepth on this topic. We believe that BCAAs are helpful, but not essential. do you have further knowledge to say differently other than your personal experience?
I realized after years of putting weight on, that perhaps I needed to increase protein (after watching a deep dive on protein and muscle/fat)
I added a Collagen, that was 85% protein. Very little happened.
Added a whey isolate, with BCAA, also 85% protein.
Immediate muscle gain and weight loss.
The BCAA are the signal to the body of what to do with the proteins?
It’s BCA’s. Not AA’s You can’t double plural a word 😂. Already off to a great start.
It’s BCAAs. It stands for branch chain amino acids
@@ISlayInPubs yeah AA is already plural. So you’d say BCAA or BCAs. Saying BCAA’s is saying there at least 4 As involved.
@@Cancle771 That’s not true. It’s literally an abbreviation for branch chain amino acids so that translates to BCAAs
@@ISlayInPubs Dude I’m literally an English teacher. That’s not grammatically correct. BCAs not BCAAs
@@ISlayInPubs let’s spell it out so you can see it. Branch Chain Amino Acids’s 😂
