When you built the Ancestral Hall you called it or as the Warlords Throne finishing up, and I was stunned that you'd pass on the 2x workers option. Glad to see it was just that you're so used to building the Throne and simply misspoke.
The missions are so incredibly overpowered when you can build them on a foreign continent. The fact that they can be built adjacent to each other is insane!
There is a thing in the late game with high difficulty levels: the more cities you have relative to the AI, the more inclined they are to accept friendship on meeting.
@@UrsaRyannot exactly. It’s a case of correlation, not equaling causation. As the game goes on the ai you have not yet met still build up +/- disposition modifiers which are easily visible to the player on the diplomatic screen. Most people are familiar with that. There is a secondary “hidden” disposition for each ai though. You can see it through quick deals really easy, I started to notice it years ago when I was playing solely on iPad. Civilizations that have a higher trade modifier, the rate at which the trade gold per turn or to a lesser extent luxuries, on first meeting will have a higher likelihood of accepting friendship. I find on average it happens more in “peaceful” games although that only seems to increase the odds. Overall I have not been able to completely figure out what causes a civilization to have a higher trade modifier on meeting. What I will say is number of cities, or any per turn yields do not seem to have a major impact on it. My experience at least.
I have a cool idea: To keep the whole thing with Patreon supporters having city names (very nice idea btw) but not have them be kinda repetitive, why not make them sound more City-like? It needs a bit of creativity, but you could probably just translate it into the language of whatever civ you’re playing! For example, you could call The Falcon something like El Halcón, it sounds very cool and more city like!
Having not played much as Spain for some reason, I had no idea that Ancestral Hall stacks with Spain's bonus to get 2 builders in a new city...!!!! If you have Hic Sunt Draconis for getting pops and 2 builders with 5 or more charges each, that's some pretty serious advantage! I think i need to play a Spain game soon. After several thousand hours in Civ VI, I like that I'm still seeing the game in new ways and learning things 😊 thanks Ursa!
Late bears! It's late night/early morning am on Thursday here in the north pacific! Huzzah! And hold the front door for just ONE minute. Was that a complete dam? Before a superflood?!
Think I would prefer to see this difficulty level modified so that the AI gets substantially less gold (maybe only a 100% boost). As AI doesnt really use gold effectively giving them all 200% gold just gives the human player too many options to trade their way out of difficulty.
i think the AI rework needs to be done such that improved tiles give them massive yields, base yields are just the same. this encourages them to play more human like, or at least make builders and the like, and make districts.
*Even though they have way more bonuses, the AI is still so dumb lol, I hope it improves with civ 7. Still keep playing on Sid Mier level though, Ursa! not sure if you know but it changes the speed of the game, you might need a mod for that lol* 💪👍
Seeing a dam build in this series has pointed out just how desperate you've been to accomplish literally anything in this game. What's next? Renewable energy prioritization?
The wild swing from "We're definitely going to hit a dark age" to "We're gonna hit a golden age, it was never in doubt" is hilarious 😂
Sounds like my internal monologue on most things!!
There are only two constants in Ursa videos. Failing to deal with barb's and pulling golden ages out of his posterior
"That's what you want to see, more routes to Canberra" - Things an Australian would never say
My favourite part was when Spain said it's Spaining time and Spained all over the place. Anyway, early-ish bear Huzzah!
Huzzah! The Spain in Spain Spains mainly on the Spain.
These puns are Spainful
I spained all over keyboard reading this
Tick tock, it's spain o'clock. Mike Wazneak would be proud.

Haha, my mind was clearly wondering at that point XD

They truely are my favourite
Surround a campus with them for a lazy extra 18 science and 24 faith
0:46 "Move into Daddytodd"
I can't anymore
Oh the pain of seeing double-builder Spanish cities pop up without the builder card...is allayed by Ursa's entertaining play style...
bruh the 10+ builder charges lost 😭😭😭... like tears in the rain
They hurt me too don't worry!! This difficulty level causes great sacrifice

Is that true? Huh

Also good to know to be fair!

A cool concept = ) Letting the channel supporters pick is part of the charm though

You truly are the Era Score Monarch!! Huzzah!
Huzzah!
For the longest time I'd watch these vids in 1.25x speed.
I slowed it down to normal so I could have some extra time to enjoy Ursa.
I've listened to myself sped up and I would not wish that on anyone XD
it counts as less watch time for him if you do that.
That's true but honestly I'm not one to judge, watch how you like!

£640 - You don't need to unlock the mission. The mission has always been the University of Sankore.
Remember Ursa, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.
Wombling in, plonking down... Huzzah! :-)

A very stupid giant indeed.
what mod changes those banners on top, with the ! marker and icons for trade?
You should try playing diety+++++ combined with roman holidy's ai mod (emphasis on try)!
That would be mind bending!!!
I think those two conflict somehow
@@MH-hu5pi they might, but I don't think rhai changes any modifiers the ai get.
