Hey guys! Soooo between 1:22 - 1:37 there was SUPPOSED to be a voice over of me explaining that thrift stores have authentic vintage clothing and make fun of how many times I flip my hair in this video but somehow during the export that all got lost 😭 So now its just this awkward silent part and it took me twelve hours to notice! 😂 Anyway, I'm still learning how to do all this stuff so thank you for all the sweet comments! I'll try to make sure that doesn't happen in the future! 🤦🏻♀️
Last thing, putting a price to the clothing before looking at the tag is genius! Im definitely going to start incorporating that into my shopping routine! What a great tip! Thanks 😊

Putting your own price value on the clothes is a good idea!! Sometimes my go-to is “okay, it’s $20 would I wear it 20 times” that’s not always a full-proof rule but it weeds out a lot of unnecessary clothes that I may have bought while thriftin

I grew up shopping at The Goodwill! Now, however, I tend to get so discouraged when I walk through the doors of a thrift store. I live in Los Angeles and stores like Buffalo Exchange are great but some of employees treat you like you're crap if you're clearly not a starlette or a hipster trying to be vintage cool (not all of their employees but definitely some). I really like your shopping tactics and I'm thinking once things get back to normal I might start hitting the consignment stores more! Thank you!
Totally Michele! I made this video before things got too crazy so I’m not expecting anyone to go out shopping right now! And yeah I totally get what you mean about getting discouraged in thrift stores because it can be very difficult thrift shopping. That’s why I recommend being ok with not finding anything and just getting practice. There’s some people I know who always find cute thrifted things but that’s because they go like three times a month to look around!

Sometimes you can ask if they'll take less for something and they might lower it to what you were thinking of paying. It depends on where you go. 🙂 This was fun.
