I would say the Short Circuit for Engineer got changed the most since it’s gotten a shitton of changes in almost every update since 2013 from being decent to good to really fucking good and then back down good again in the span of 6 years.
That's why I made this more on how functionally different the weapon is or how much its purpose changed from when it was released to today. Just based on number of changes the SC would probably be number 1 considering they change it every other update, haha. But since the start it's always just been a projectile deleting weapon that uses metal for ammo.
That's true. I probably should have specifically stated that this was only going to be unlocks (as it was with the other 2 in this series). But even then I guess the case can be made that the Flamethrower's main mechanic of...throwing flames has always been roughly the same while the Powerjack's whole purpose changed.
seeing the enforcer like this is pathatic to be honest... but that piercing stat thou... I wonder what would happend if Valve tried to design after counterring resistances... *meanwhile in alternativ universe* The Enforcer (of alter uni) -no random critical hits -20% slower firing speed +pierces Uber and enemy resistances +inflict critical hits if a resistance is pierced Day:1 Spy Mains gain a new smile of a demon Day:3 Spy Mains realize that Valve messed up the coding and it inflicts critical hits on any kind of resistance not just bullets Day5: Medic Mains are afraid of using ubercharges and patience that get healed by a vacinator run away Day7: The Deadringer became unuseable against spys Day11: Arrayseven retired Day20: Every Medic retired Day26: Tf2 died but valve released a new hat
I honestly think more damage on pierce is a good idea, why would you, as a spy decide to shoot a medic heavy couple. That's like saying: look I am over here could you kill me on one second please!
On day 20 but aren't there medics who use quick fix and critscreg also by that logic all spys should retire because of pyros or all engineers and snipers should retire because of spys
13:38 Why do moments like this only work in youtube videos, If I were to uncloak behind someone like that they're always wearing ultra gaming headphones and turn around instantly
I know this is old but that probably fails all the time for him so he decided to pick the one clip that worked. Or he just decided to kill the obvious f2p
I... didnt play back when the old panic attack was around and I cant comment on the new one because I don't have it but I hope you still get fun out of it
The eureka affect is actually good when you do ninjaneering, sneak behind the enemy with it using teleport exit and kill them tp back to spawn when you get low and get back to the front line quick
i still think they shouldve made the danger shields downside a weakness to other snipers, or just bullet damage. so you would actually hurt yourself in the sniper duels that it was a problem in and give you more health vs other classes
The Loch still has a clip size penalty, faster projectile, no rollers, etc. Plus the original version's damage bonus was only +10%, so it didn't make quite as big of a difference compared to when it was increased later on and eventually changed to just buildings. Comparatively the Persian Persuader's only shared stat is the longer range.
I completely forgot the Persian Persuader by the time I watched this video, since I almost don't play demoknight and I was on my phone at 9:50 p.m. central time, so lol, sorry.
I would say in my personal opinion the Equalizer as a whole before it got split would have been the weapon that has changed the most since it's the only item in tf2 where another weapon was made out of its previous build.
As someone who hasn't played tf2 in years, this was actually really helpful. Now I won't be surprised when these weapons are completely different from how I remember.
for the engineer the weapon could have been EASILY the panic attack, since when the inability to pick buildings on the eureka effect was removed, all the wrenches were pretty similar.
Personally, I loved the older version of the Persuader. I hope they bring those stats back on a new weapon or something. At the very least, give us the part where ammo is turned into health instead. I could care less about the charge.
Did you know that in the Jungle Inferno update that they removed a pretty amazing stat from the Persian persuader? After Meet your Match the persuader used to drop a small health kit on melee kill (shield kills would not drop one) which was a stat I LOVED about it, but now since they removed it in Jungle Inferno I hardly ever use it :/
idk who's gonna read this but as a sniper main, I still LOVE the danger shield. Because of the flinching while burning, getting hit by a flare pretty much takes sniper out of the fight for as long as the afterburn lasts which can be like a whole 10 seconds. the danger shield just removes this
Am I the only one who thing the danger shields stats should of been +25 Max Hp +15% Bullet Resistance +20 Explosive Vulnerability +15% Extra Damage From Enemy Snipers. Anyone? After Breakfast? Anyone?
Honestly, I think the crossbow got changed more than the vita-saw. The reloading-while-inactive wasn't there on launch (and it used to reload incredibly slowly to boot), the uber build option wasn't there, it used to fire actual arrows instead of syringes, and it had a bunch of bugs like healing through the equalizer.
The Crusader's Crossbow got a lot of important changes but it's always been the 1 shot, shoot teammates to heal them kind of gun. It's always had the same basic purpose/playstyle. The Vita-Saw's change in a way forces you to use it differently than the previous version. At least a bit. It requires you to be somewhat aggressive if you want the benefit of the weapon.
I wish the Persian persuader had stats that weren't a straight upgrade on demoknight and a straight downgrade on normal demoman. It sort of kills loadout variety, which I don't like. The same goes for the ABWB/Bootlegger, because it is almost completely useless with a stickybomb launcher.
12:24 The rusrty weapon that causes bleeding + the danger shield so much fun on 2fort, on the rare ocasion that i actualy play sniper, its great to have a way to defend myself from W+M1 flyros, they expect sniper to be helpless in close range, and who doesn’t (except if the sniper is a quicscope god), you hit them the moment they land, run for spawn, no afterburn usualy lets you get away with that, then you peak out, smak ‘em again when they expect you to go all the way to the cabinet 1st, then the bleeding will usually make them run or gets them so low you can noscope them
Your channel goes in the category of: channels I used to watch when I would stay up all night but I'm trying to be better so now it's when I stay up late
Now I understand what you mean by "2011 common + and - stat" It is a weapon with simple stats, 1 plus side, and 1 downside, some haven't changed until now such as KGB and ubersaw, it WILL NEVER change because its big RISK and big REWARD. (crits exchange for risking your life with low mobility, or uber exchange for risking your life as a primary target).
"to... 'Strengthen Melee fights against pyros.' that doesn't sound like a very good idea" I've been fine with the DDS+Pan loadout everytime I encountered a Sniper Hungry Pyro. It's always funny to see them get denied by a pan to the face whenever they try to kill you.
12:22 To aid in melee fifghts againt Pyros. Everyone thinks that a bad thing, but if a Jetpack Pyro jets right for your sniping butt, you are gonna try and quickscope, miss, then pull out your melee in hopes of a crit. Every. Single. Sniper. Does. This. ANd so, the Danger Shield is actually helping a bit by doubling your time to fight while being W+M1'd by a jetpack Pyro. (Edit: Also useful against Scorch Shot spam)
For the Darwin's Danger Shield, Pyro spamming flares are extremely annoying when sniping. With the danger shield you are on fire for only a second. So you wont flinch as much, which is very helpful, and will be able to kill that pyro
darwins danger shield now is actually better than the old version but less annoying because you dont flinch anymore from afterburn and you cant get counterd for a moment by a random schorch shot across the map
I used persian persuader a lot when it gave hp from ammo. It didnt actually heal that lot, big ammo boxes barely healing as much as medium health and medium boxes and small ones between 10-30 so you pretty much had to scour every ammo pack/ dropped gun you found and piss off engis. But it was fun even without shield in smaller koth maps where you could just use ammo and visit spawn to get ammo.
The old eureka effect I remember just as if it was yesterday settin up near the middle on some koth map but back then I used it cuz I was thinkin it was better, I remember the sick melee powerjack, those were good times.
Before watching the video, I'm gonna say the "Short Circuit". First supposed to be a machine hand gun, then a slow projectile removing thing, then a quick projectile murdering machine, and finally a machine hand gun with a slow projectile removing thing.
I would rework the pocket pistol by keeping the +7 health on hit (maybe buffing to +10) +15% switch too speed but -25% switch from speed -25% clip size If the weapon is out for at least 1 seconds you will be marked for death until 2 seconds after you switch weapon The weapon should now be good for finishing off targets and getting out of battle I could see it working great with the force of nature, you shoot them way with the force of nature then switch to the more accurate pistol to finish them off
I find the new darwin's very good and almost a must have if there are no enemy spies. With the new jet pack, pyros can get to you as a sniper in less then a second and easily set you alight. Even if you kill him, you'd have to face afterburn which would most likely pick you off anyways. Plus it stops flare spammers too
The actual gun part of the weapon has essentially remained unchanged since release though. The gimmick has changed and that had a big impact on it but the firing speed, reload, and clip size are still the same where the Pocket Pistol has none of the same stats and serves a different purpose completely. So that's why I went with it over the Soda Popper.
9:02 WHAT IS THAT MUSIC I know I've heard it before, please If somebody knows tell me. I think It maybe is something from the gba, probably Mega man zero.

I would rework the pocket pistol by
keeping the +7 health on hit (maybe buffing to +10)
+15% switch too speed but -25% switch from speed
-25% clip size
If the weapon is out for at least 1 seconds you will be marked for death until 2 seconds after you switch weapon
The weapon should now be good for finishing off targets and getting out of battle I could see it working great with the force of nature, you shoot them way with the force of nature then switch to the more accurate pistol to finish them off

Soda Popper used to deal mini-crust just by running around. Then they changed it to mid-air jumps. And now you have to deal damage to get those jumps
Panic attack gets the multi-class spot
