Rachel is amazing. She got all of the little filigrees that even Gentle Giant didn't do live, the chromatic eighth-note triplets in the 5/4 section and that arpeggioid run at the end of the outro riff.
Jesus! I'm terrified of her. I didn't know her. I heard a comment that Carl should have added her to the legacy band. I'm crying with emotion to see such skill, such talent! She is perfect! FANTASTIC. Thank you so much Lord, for me being a musician too.
I used to despair when a great musician, singer artist passed away, but then I thought "someone will come along who is as good or surpasses" along come Rachel!
Obviously the guy on the floor. Met some of his family in orlando, my home town, of all places. Played for a NEw Years party. athrow together band we sucked, and homey usually don't play that. A valiant effort by this club band. See rachel in the Fan video. TALENTED!!
Yes, Kerry Minnear's performances are a huge pain in the ass for everyone, although I presume that Jordan Rudess's renditions of GG are hard for Kerry. Sorry for this comment, Kerry, but one thing's for shure: it is you who wrote all those unbelievable lines. Your taste is second to none!
Yes, I am totally addict to GG, but Rachel has been toying with the other best prog band for a long time. And I hope no sooner she will toy with the other best prog band. Then we may say Rachel has dominion over the three best prog there ever was? No disrespect to Yes, the fourth best.
Jose Andrade kinda depends who you ask...my top bands are the same, but in a different order. Genesis tops my list. Not that you asked, I’m just passing through...
@@russellszabadosaka5-pindin849 The order is irrelevant, but you have a point: Genesis is a band, as well as GG. And their music was also collective and democratic, that's why they found the process so tiring, everyone should agree. I absolutely love ELP. but I must admit that it was a bit of "Keith Emerson and his muchachos". Ah, and the form in which Genesis music stood the test of time, and also every kind of arrangement that was made out of it, is remarkable. That was heavy stuff contemporary composition, so superior than the other so-called contemporary composers, more concerned with "novelty" rather than with "music"...
Jose Andrade we’re on the same page, my friend. There’s so many things I love about Genesis, and the unique creative visions of Peter, Tony, Mike and sometimes Steve, and then Phil, Tony & Mike ALWAYS made for quality rock music that was smart, inventive and beautifully melodic. Even the blatantly commercial tracks on Invisible Touch and We Can’t Dance are unmistakably Genesis, and of a quality that’s head and shoulders above almost every other rock band. As much as I love ELP, Gentle Giant, Yes, U.K., and all the rest, I cannot express that same sentiment about any of them, they all have clunkers. Jeez, I mean let’s talk Tormato, Love Beach, Giant For a Day (which I love for a very specific reason unrelated to this comment), Too Old to Rock n Roll... Everyone’s got the result of a bad day/week/month(s) in their discography except for Genesis. In my humble opinion, of course. 😄
WOW! Well this was a treat. Rachel FLowers keeps popping up in my "you may also like" list, and she has ever disappointed me . This is the first time I ever heard her sing, just epic!
I was at Progstock but wish I had know about GORGG. I have known that Rachel's talent was Awesome, but now a more awesome adjective is needed. Someone needs to invent a new exclusive word to describe her, because she is unique.
I continue to be impressed by her even though I already know she's a monstrous talent. Her vocal needs to be louder in the mix but her keyboard part was outstanding. I saw her during The Yes Royal Affair tour in Irvine for the post concert meet & greet with the band.
Gosh.
Imagine how difficult is to play that complex piano parts and sing at the same time.
Pure talent.
Rachel is amazing. She got all of the little filigrees that even Gentle Giant didn't do live, the chromatic eighth-note triplets in the 5/4 section and that arpeggioid run at the end of the outro riff.
What a talented lady and very ably supported. Great to see Gary and Malcolm. Mr. Mortimore absolutely rock solid.
Jesus! I'm terrified of her. I didn't know her. I heard a comment that Carl should have added her to the legacy band. I'm crying with emotion to see such skill, such talent! She is perfect! FANTASTIC. Thank you so much Lord, for me being a musician too.
See my comment :)
I used to despair when a great musician, singer artist passed away, but then I thought "someone will come along who is as good or surpasses" along come Rachel!
Great to see Gary back in action. His leg STILL got the beat!
Yeah,i was thinkin the same thing

Exactly! Even if I couldn't see his face, I'd know that leg anywhere.
She was note-for-note PERFECT! As a huge Gentle Giant fan I salute you and the great band!
How incredibly moving to hear Rachel play flawlessly AND sing, WOW!

Rachel is the gift we didn't deserve
Oh cool. Rachel finally discovered the best prog band!
Yes, I am totally addict to GG, but Rachel has been toying with the other best prog band for a long time. And I hope no sooner she will toy with the other best prog band. Then we may say Rachel has dominion over the three best prog there ever was? No disrespect to Yes, the fourth best.
Of course the third is Genesis.

Good to see Gary again after his health problems he had not so long ago
Anytime I encounter people playing this piece (even accompanied by original members), I get the largest smile....!
Gary Green lives! Time to reform Three Friends! Oh pleeze.......pleeze.
..yeah !..with Prog-Rock Tribute Bulgaria !..👌
Rachel is a STELLAR musician! Jamming with Mr. Green is an extra treat!
She has no disability.. The ones who can see but could never touch her stellar musicianship are the ones with a disability.. Love her❤..
Just reminds me , what a brilliant song, brilliant band GG were. Terrific performance by Rachel. Great to see MM on drums.
and Gary Green on guitar!!!
Came across this while sitting in the garden sunshine with my chihuahua and 6 year old grandson, they were entranced!
GG is amazing, RF is a gift from God
Gentle Giant were a gift from God! Rachel, don't be frightened, but I expect so much of you, but mind me not, just be yourself.
Renato Fallani I agree wholeheartedly. And I take the expression “so and so are a gift from God” very seriously. Rachel certainly is!
Can't help but notice your initials are RF.
gentle giant, the best prog band in my opinion
ABSOLUTELY 😇😱
thank you Rachel and Mr Green and all of you playing the game of this proclamation ===> The Flower And The Glory
Superb performance from Rachel.
God I love that band. And now Rachel!
Love this! I work with Rachel on our E.L.P. Collabs... I also have some GG collabs out there... Working on more!
Right on Len, I really enjoyed the ELP collabs.
I have seen Rachel tackle Keith Emerson (her hero)brilliantly now she ‘s going after the mind boggling GG.cheers
WOW; THIS REMINDS ME OF THE SIGHTS AND SOUNDS CONCERT...;)...Nice to see Malcom and Gary too...I remember you guys so young...Giant fan since the 70's
I confess... I love Rachel Flowers!

This is so very awesome. GG is the pinnacle of prog and Rachel is keeping that flame alive.
I agree GG music is a pure pleasure... Wonderful!!!!
Amazing! And wonderful to see and hear Malcolm and Gary!
We need to keep this music alive!
For how long ?
No mistaking that's Gary Green...I'd recognise that leg stompin' and foot tapping anywhere !!
Same as me! First I was not sure, but then I saw his legs stomping.
Rachel is awesom, it's nearly incredible when she performs EL&P
Gary Green still rocks and his leg too,😅😅. Greetings from Chile.
Amazing playing.
Oh man I'd love to see this live, Rachel is an absolute beast of a musician
Great music and she’s brilliant !!
Really good! This is a very complex piece on the piano, and to sing the song at the same time is amazing.
MY GOD!!!!!!!!! THE WONDERS OF GOD'S CHILDREN!!!!!
How she does it is mind boggling. And other musicians joining her is so great.
Ainda há esperança no mundo , alguem ouvindo "Gentle giant" em 2020. . . It's cool!
My favorite song from Gentle Giant, from my favorite album ! Congrats, Rachel !
Wow! So great to see the legends next to young generation of musicians!
"Jesus! I'm terrified of her." Thank you Tulio for that! I shall never forget it. Wish I could find the one with her and Keith and "The Beast"
Amazing keyboard play... wow!
Well Done!! If I walked into a nightclub and that was happening, I will have found a new home.
Rachel is just amazing. I love her.
Hi friends. I'm from Brazil and I like Gentle Giant very much. Amazing, Rachel! You are very talented. Congratulations! I became your fan.
Got goosebumps when she started singing. Thanks for the upload!
Rachel is the tightest one in the band. Fun to watch!

I'm so glad, Three Friends is still active
Excellent!
Very cool. Rachel could play anything and make it sound good.
I continue to be impressed by her even though I already know she's a monstrous talent. Her vocal needs to be louder in the mix but her keyboard part was outstanding. I saw her during The Yes Royal Affair tour in Irvine for the post concert meet & greet with the band.
