I am currently listening to you read PEACE from the broken Pieces, and I am at the epilog, but I think am going to go back cause I think I fell asleep and missed some parts. Don't wanna miss non. I realize that: #1 as males we are raised in problem solving mode due to the social identity of males. #2 Going through impactful struggles at young ages are a reason that we wallow in those struggles and make it our identity because we wanted to feel okay within it.
The healthier identity I have now, requires for me to be acceptable of living a life of ease.

I know who I would be, just not willing to play in the hands of those who don't see me or others in need of being 100% ourselves. We see harder things in life than people being themselves, yet we do more than scowl at those who have the stability to be themselves. Who is hurting in the face of such stability? Absolutely no one! Yet people have to create their own space so they can be themselves. Land of the free, yet even in their own space they're forced to preserve the "standard". It's not hard to be who you are without all the obstacles, being who people need you to be preserves your standing, after sacrificing who you are over and over. PTSD ain't no joke... you jump as soon as you see movement. I love how encouraging some of are, truly, just keep in mind the battlefield isn't the same for all of us. Sending us out with a mere pat on the back is pointless for some of us, for others it's all we need...people who are not aware of what things look like for you are practicing the standard. The standard keeps a filing system most just don't fit into. Got to play the game, if you want to win, yes? Where does that leave non-players? Within the filing system: losers, incompetent, vagabonds... yet key components are left in the wind unless discovered and pressed until there is nothing left even discarded until an alter built in misguided honor as a replacement yet we call them reminders of what we took for granted. Be who you are as long as you harm none in the process. Yet people's pride bleeds way worse than their bodies will in a lifetime.
