    thoose guys reallly know what they are doing, they are also really good to drive and know how to tune a car. where i live i see mainly stupid ricers whith pices of platic attached all over the body of the car, bad sound sistems and the cars are lighted like a disco. but to the drivetrain they dont even touch it. oh yeah also fit eversized exaust on 1.2l engines.

      +Dumy Jobby RICERS! They're truly *people who think cars are cool, YET DON'T KNOW HOW THEY WORK lol.*
      The guys in the video are TRUE CAR ENTHUSIASTS, and I agree it's obvious they know what they're doing, not to mention each car looks almost like a well-done professional RACECAR. Great driving, great tuning, that's some *_Fast & Furious_* sheeit right there.

    Japanese street racing makes American street racing look like joke lol >_

    • @BigChief128
      @BigChief128 10 лет назад +1

      A bunch of teenager in riced out Honda's and Toyota's that only push about 200BHP and are in bad shape are hardly the best America has to offer, If you know where to look at what time in what city, You'll find the real race nuts, Trust me there few and far between but there are people running very highly modified Supra, Mustangs, Camaro's, Corvettes, Ford GT's, BMW 5 series ect.

    • @ohhCNZ
      @ohhCNZ 10 лет назад +1

      Pretty sure the underground racing in America is faster as they are more into drag racing which beats the Japanese, but drifting clearly looks better :P

    • @BigChief128
      @BigChief128 10 лет назад +1

      ohh CNZ I personally like drifting and rally racing myself. Drag is cool and all but it's boring to just sit around and watch only that for hours. I would like to try drifting for myself in my Camaro simply because drifting in a muscle car is something you don't see, a lot of people have this idea that they can't do it, you actually can, It's just a bit harder with the extra weight and power. A muscle car has enough torque and horsepower to get it to slid without the hand break but it's tricky.

    • @ohhCNZ
      @ohhCNZ 10 лет назад +1

      I completely agree. Drag is faster but going sideways is better to do and watch for me. And I've seen American muscle go sideways but its just not executed as well as a JDM.

    • @PhantomGP01
      @PhantomGP01 9 лет назад

      BigChief128 No offense, but you seem biased towards "underpowered" cars by naming models that have high horsepower. I agree with you about the riced out vehicles comment, but why call out just Honda and Toyota? I know several people who have a trashed M3, Mustang, Camaro and so-forth. It's so bad that it sounds like they're dragging around soup cans when it's their tailpipe that's dragging along the pavement. I've driven/owned a Honda (and will again in the future), driven/owned a Firebird Trans Am and I drive a Toyota. I've also owned/driven a few other cars in between. Each one had more work done to the suspension and tires than the motor because I love taking corners. It really comes down to how you take care of your car and what you do with it. If you keep up with the maintenance, buy the quality aftermarket parts for your modifications and research what kind of modifications you need to improve your car for the intended purpose you want it to be, your car, no matter what make, model, horsepower, torque, etc it is, will turn out to be the perfect car for you. Also, not only learning/mastering your car, but improving your skills is the other half of the equation. "Driver mods."

    Really cool documentary. I'm a muscle car guy, but it's really cool seeing these legendary Japanese cars (Skyline, Supra, 240, Rx7) doing their thing. Gorgeous cars. Been trying to learn more about these mighty machines, so thanks for the upload!

      cybertree Yes but there's a lot of Japanese people who just doesn't want to speak english. And in a world where everyone goes everywhere its.. well, slightly less acceptable.
      Also, I do really salute the ones that atleast try to speak english. I really do.

    • @frankb5866
      @frankb5866 8 лет назад +2

      +Ilya Jolteon They're in their country speaking their language. To go to tokyo and complain about people not knowing or wanting to speak English is retarded and insulting.

    • @ilya3379
      @ilya3379 8 лет назад

      Frank B Of course! Except I wasn't complaining. I didn't go to Tokyo to fucking complain about people not speaking English.
      As an ex-exchange student you have to realize that it's partially your fault to not study their language
      But more English IS NICE for the people who DONT speak the country's native language. so they can enjoy the country/place/whatever more because they can COMMUNICATE with the people.

    The 180 is called 240 in the US, and 200 in Europe. The reason is model branding, as other cars on the market already had similar names.

    And you just made my point even greater by saying it goes by market. this video is in Japan. He NEVER said 240, so don't "dumb it down" and call it a 240 for American viewers sake.
    And real enthusiasts already know its a 180 (Because your in japan, and that is what they call it THERE). you don't need to mislabel the car for the sake of an audience that doesn't really care about this kind of thing like those who actually watch these vids who DO know.

    They can't have huge power or real drag race, because they will run out of real estate.

    holy shit... and the dub is horrible as well. he never said he bought a 240 or "corolla gts" and you know it. there's no need to "dumb down" a dub esp when its wrong.
    it makes your translator look stupid.
