    3 SSP kits making it to the top 16 sounds like good advertising to me

    The fight with Nitro Hornet was great. He looked strong, then you almost finished him off, then he blew off your top plate, then he lost a wheel. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. 10/10

    I like the voiceovers

      Glad to hear it, this is the first time in a long time I have tried adding VO during fights. With so many fights the video would be too long with commentary only after the fight I think.

      being able to see what you're talking about when you talk about it is great!

      I agree on the voice overs 100%. Big shout out from the Framingham Makerspace!

    My fight with SSP was awesome! I will pull off an SSP wedge someday. I still am not 100% sure what happened with my drive. The motors were intermittent for several of my fights. When I got home from the event I drove the bot into a wall for about 10 seconds (stalling the motors) which killed one of them for good. I'll be switching to Gecko drive motors and hoping that fixes the issue. -Aidan with Radix

    Great video! Your videos have helped me quite a bit and im excited to see subtraction compete .
    Really enjoyed the voice over during fights instead of after !
    Its also crazy how many control bots you went up against this tourney.
    Aggressive tapping 😂

    When I watched it live I thought Crashfest won, but watching it back it could have gone either way. It was one of the best fights of the event and both bots looked great.

    The damage you received from Nitro Hornet was way more minimal than I thought. I would dread fighting something like that but my bot isnt nearly as easy to repair.

    • @JustCuzRobotics
      @JustCuzRobotics  11 месяцев назад +2

      SSP was designed to be maintained by someone with no robot building experience so it's gotta be easy to fix! It took about 6 minutes in real time to repair the damage, that footage was sped up about 10X. As long as you have the parts needed it's super easy to work on.

      Thank you! Voiceover during fights seems to work well. It really cuts down on the video runtime to not have commentary separate from the fights and I like that it's more in the moment.

      @@JustCuzRobotics - Yeah, I think Carter Hurd pretty much nailed it in his Krave Monster videos. That's the style I'm trying to emulate.

    Funny story for you. I was actually on the panel for the SSP vs nitro hornet and the division vs dragonfruit fights. We had some confusion with the latter of the two but nothing like some of the other issues that happened that day. Which I’m curious to hear your opinion of those issues. Primarily the lynx event and chainsaw kitty vs hurt caboose. Can’t wait to see the new bot next weekend.

    • @JustCuzRobotics
      @JustCuzRobotics  11 месяцев назад +2

      I haven't seen the Chainsaw Kitty fight you referenced. The Lynx fight has been beat to death on Discord already tho. Ultimately I think the ref did their job the best they could, getting stuck on a light that has fallen is no different than getting stuck against the arena wall IMHO and shouldn't require special treatment. It sucks that Lynx got KOed that way even though Josh didn't want the win, but Josh's choice not to tap out before the countout ended sealed Lynx's fate.

      The one thing I think people missed from the Chainsaw Kitty v Hurt Caboose fight, as it wasn't shown on the stream, is that Kitty was still able to move using her weapon while Hurt Caboose was completely dead due to it's power switch being removed. I'm not convinced I 100% won that fight, but I think knowing that difference in damage makes it a closer fight than it appeared on stream.

    SSP is looking great Seth and it sounds like you have quite a few friends cheering you on also. Hope to catch you in RI next time. By the way are the screws on your wedge counter sunk? I couldn't tell on my phone.

    • @JustCuzRobotics
      @JustCuzRobotics  11 месяцев назад +2

      They aren't because counter sinking AR500 is sortof a nightmare. It's possible but requires specialty tools

    • @nightrider5420
      @nightrider5420 11 месяцев назад +1

      Ahh I see. I use 1/4" AR500 for plinking plates at the rifle range and it takes hit from a 226 round without hardly even distorting. Good luck and keep the hits coming Seth.
