No joke you have taught me so much more about my acne than any dermatologist. I just saw a dermatologist last week, and he was a younger guy, and when it came to my breakouts all he said was that as an adult it's just hormones so there isn't much you can do. He didn't ask about my skincare routine, he didn't discuss diet and lifestyle with me, and he didn't make any recommendations for what to use/not use. Needless to say I won't be bringing up acne to doctors anymore. It's completely useless!

I think someone should hire you to help people with skin problems. You are such an inspiration! I had skin problems when I was in my late teen years and the acne ended after I had my first child. I also, am very sensitive to chemicals and I don't wear any makeup or be near people who pour lotions or perfumes on themselves. I truly understand what you mean when you say "toxin people". I had to give them up as well. My skin has been great over years, but I do get hives when I cause myself to be overly stressed unnecessarily. Thank you so much for sharing and you are like a bright star giving people hope with their skin problems.

"When you just use products, you're not really getting into the bottom of it." --- This hit me. I realized that I wasn't really paying attention to what my body/skin is shouting at me. I kept on changing products to find which ones work and doesn't work for me but then I didn't care about what food I ate, what things stresses me, nor my lifestyle habits. I am so beyond happy for you Cassandra!! I have been following you for years now since the beginning and my journey has been so so similar to yours. After 7 dermatologists I quit and started experimenting and learning more about our body and natural treatments. I tried all the pills and ointments and it makes me mad that doctors never acknowledged that diet was such a big part. Going vegan is the biggest change that cleared my skin. Two years of being vegan has cured so much in my body. I had awful acne just like you did and I'm so glad I have had you through this whole process to "hold my hand". I would try something and then watch a video and find you trying or supporting the same thing. I love you so so much! I truly hope this video is shared far and wide and we save others from this stressful and frustrating journey. Even if you don't have acne just being aware of diet and toxins can help so much. Knowledge is power. I agree with everything you say in this video so much. Thank you so much for making these videos! ❤️❤️❤️

I'm really glad someone like you decided to make a video on clearing acne and highlighting that products are a tiny part of the process. This video NEEDS to be seen by all the people suffering from acne out there. I can relate so much to this. I've been dealing with acne since I was like 14 and it didn't go away after puberty or adolescence, it only got worse and worse, no matter how many products I tried. And I refused to take medication for it or birth control pills, I used to say to people: I'd rather live my whole life with acne than taking birth control in order to keep it in check. The moment it started to heal is when I took a radical decision : I will not cover my face with make-up anymore, this is who I am and if you don't like my face, just don't look at it. The idea that I can only feel beautiful when my real face is covered up was kind of killing me inside. So I stopped doing make-up and instead applied a bit of cream mixed with tea-tree oil everyday on the affected areas of my face, because I wanted something natural. After a few months you could see the difference but I was still having eruptions. So I started to work out and to pay attention to what I'm eating, reduce meat, reduce diary and fat, eat vegetarian as much as I could. And on top of that, I got recommended to a nice cleanser for acne prone skin, a professional one and I replaced my tea-tree oil with that and it actually was the right product for me. The only one I'm using. Really practical for traveling, by the way. :) All of that combined got me to a point where I can proudly look at my face in the mirror. I still get acne here and there from time to time but nothing compared to how it was before. And I only apply make up to my face for very special occasions, maybe once or twice a year. Destressing was also important, since I used to be quite an angry person, always frustrated about everything. I do think the key is starting to get comfortable in your skin, become at peace with yourself. When you get on that road, everything just starts falling into place, suddenly you have the energy to work out, to prepare healthy meals for yourself, to meditate, to do research and come across great ideas. Really enjoyed looking at your video and so happy to confirm that what I did out of instinct is proven to be true and works for other people too. We don't need to intoxicate ourselves with pills in order to do this. Cheers!

I had severe cystic acne from 18 to 21, went on Accutane and before my wedding had a couple of cysts and at 28 went on Accutane again. Right before my wedding I had collagen injections and my pics come out great. I have two kids, who are 24 and 19, I did fat transplants (taken from my side, injected into my face, and so many other treatments). I’m 55 now and over the years since my last cystic breakout in 1991, I’ve been very blessed with no major breakouts, and if I feel a pimple coming or a deep cyst that doesn’t come out, I run to the dermatologist and get it injected and it goes away in a day. I wanted to thank you for your honest sharing, you brought me back to a dark time in my life that I forgot. My face was so bad I used to wear a scarf around my face, when my face cleared up my confidence came back and it was actually the toughest time in my life. I’m convinced my acne was totally stress and drug related (I did a lot of drugs from 13 to 21). Happy to say I got straight in 1985 and life was beyond my wildest dream! So, thank you again, your a beautiful girl!!

This woman was the woman who helped me overcome my mental stress of having acne before! I remember you were so happy and encouraging on your videos even though you were suffering with acne too! I told myself that I shouldn't let acne affect my mental health!
Thank you for your videos Cassandra! (by the way, my name's Cassandra too! 😊) I have clear skin now like you, no more cystic acne! The one that cured mine is I cut down on my facial products and avoid stress. I'm still struggling on my diet (but eating more veggies/fruits now) 😊

Ready for these videos! I have spent so much time trying different things, exfoliating, wearing makeup and beyond to try and figure out my acne and just recently, I stopped using almost any face masks and almost no actual exfoliant. I have it down to a daily cleanser and a moisturizer and my skin is fantastic! I also stopped thinking so much about every single bump on my face and just that helped too. Simplify your life!

I’m only 4 minutes in but I wanted to comment. Every dermatologist, all my family members, they all just say “take birth control it’ll clear your acne up” okay yeh it might but it’s not treating whatever is causing me acne it’s just a mask and as soon as i we’re to go off of it the acne would come back. And no one understands why I don’t want that. I want to figure out what causes my acne and treat the causes instead of hiding the symptoms which is what birth control does. I spend countless hours doing research. I have been subscribed to you since your beginning! And as much as I want to just give up and find the easy fix I know I’ll regret it. I just have to figure out how to fix my body internally so my skin can heal. Thank you so much for your videos, they mean the world to me and give me a reason not to give up

I have tried the pill, antibiotic, accutane, now spironolactone... feels so good to hear that i might succeed to eliminate acne one day! And it’s nice to hear that you can do it without medication... thanks for the advices girl!! :)
