    Scottie is the perfect basketball player. No real weaknesses in his game if he puts it all together like this consistently.

    What’s impressed me most about Scottie this year has been his improved jumper and playmaking. The consistency with that jumper will open up the floor a lot for guys like Dennis and Siakam to be able to work. The spacing on that team has been an issue for years and the much improved shot will do wonders for him and his team. His playmaking and decision making make him the complete package. As he continues to gain experience with the ball in his hands the game will continue to slow down for him and he’ll start making teammates even better. Big jump so far between this year and last. I see All Star in his future and as early as this year!

      exactly..another additional to his arsenal…those midrange jumpshots were so easy for him now..most importantly is his maturity,he knows when to shoot he knows when to pass…

    And i get Masai has made questionable moves the last few years but everyone that doubted Scottie as the 4th pick owes Masai and Scottie an apology.

  • @KillaBean416
    @KillaBean416 11 месяцев назад +8

    Masai analyzes a players personality very well. That’s Scottie’s most impressive trait. He thrives under pressure, demands the ball in the clutch, strives to improve … that more important than physical talent.

    Scottie in the post is a thing of wonder to watch. Makes it look so easy when hes banking them off glass vs a smaller opponent, but he equally does the same moves to Brook Lopez and Jaren Jackson Jr....

  • @A-small-amount-of-peas
    @A-small-amount-of-peas 11 месяцев назад +2

    If Scottie can keep improving he becomes a nightmare for opposing teams because if he plays PG chances are the opposing PG will get overpowered in the paint, if you switch defenders on him to someone bigger he has the IQ to spot the mismatch and give an easy opportunity to a teammate and most importantly what last night showed me was with a huge worldwide audience all tuning to see Wemby he made sure the people watching that game remembered who Scottie Barnes is and he did not do it selfishly but took responsibility for the hole his team were in.
    That to me demonstrates you might have something special, the steel to ensure that your best play is reserved for the biggest occasions and I think we caught a glimpse of it in that game.
    It's a long season and he's still basically a kid and will have some bad games as do a lot of better rated players than him but having a player with that fire in his belly and the willingness to keep working on his game is something I would not trade away lightly.
    If his numbers keep climbing then he can definitely make a case for being an all star in the next 2-3 years

  • @dabaconpham7313
    @dabaconpham7313 11 месяцев назад

    Make no mistake, that was absolutely a team win against a very talented young team with the confidence of being on a roll, and, it would seem, the favour or at least a heavy benefit of a doubt from the officiating team.
    Barnes had an amazing second half which cannot be underestimated in terms of its value in galvanizing his team to seize back the never surrender identity that brought them to the highest echelon of their sport, but the other part of the Raptors identity, the knowledge that the team is always potentially far greater than the sum of its parts,is what won the day.
    The contributions of Schroeder and Anunoby, and even Poetl are obvious on the stat sheet and cannot be denied, but guys who seem to be in slumps, and bench players who are regularly denigrated due to their percentage of contribution to the overall statistics, each made vital contributions to the team effort that turned a likely loss into a victory .
    There is no tangible way of calculating the value of accumulating people who understand that principal at it's core, and have experienced it's implementation at the highest level.
