- Tom Felton recalls meeting fellow Harry Potter stars Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint for the first time.
Felton also explains what it was like behind the scenes on film sets as a child star.
25 years since The Philosopher's Stone was released, he also explained why he thinks the Harry Potter brand is still so popular nowadays.

Tom Felton and Rupert Grint visited GOSH several years ago. My daughter a great fan was not there at the time. A father of a child she knows asked if he could record a greeting for her and they agreed and recorded a lovely message for her. As a dedicated paediatric nurse it was a wonderful and very kind gesture from them.

Gosh this interview made my day! Being a Potterhead especially made me love it even more and I got so much nostalgia! This man's literally treasure, like his positivity, his personality, his kindness towards the fans makes me love him even more every day, ik ppl are gonna be like *"u like him cuz u simp for his looks"* well to them, yes Tom's looks are attractive af and I think we all have had and maybe evn still do have a crush on him and specifically Draco but that's not the only reason we luv this dude, it's his personality and vibe that makes me love him even more

For me Harry Potter is this safe haven for me. It gives me this peace that makes me feel safe. I grow up in a house that wasn’t safe and Harry Potter gave me this escape to a place I wasn’t being hurt.
I gave my HP books to my oldest granddaughter for Christmas 4 years ago. She loves them. We had a talk about the characters once. She said she felt sorry for Draco. I asked her why? She said that because of his parenting, her had been mislead. But she said that it reminded her of SW good vs bad. The struggle to want good friends and to be a part of that kind of positive feeling. She said that she felt towards the end, he realized how wrong it was to be following Voltamort.
I'm 63 years old and I adore the Harry Potter series absolutely adore it I watch it all the time just watching the children grow up and how truly talented they are

He is such a nice guy! Funny that he played the bully. It is hard to imagine him bullying anyone. But that just shows that he is a good actor! I would really like to see more of him. I could imagine him in quite a lot of roles... He rally can wear different 'hats'
He’s so likeable! I watch first time reactions to Harry Potter multiple times a day for enjoyment and it is painful to see the loathing of first time viewers toward Malfoy now that I know he’s so upful and positive. I don’t know how he wasn’t affected by the negative vibes! Thankfully he seems to have dodged them!
PS I’m 68 and my late disabled 3rd grade schoolteacher friend inspired me to read the books and watch the movies! She loved kids!

A lot of people forget that Tom Felton had an acting role before Harry potter, He also starred in "the Borrowers" and Daniel Radcliffe also starred in "David Copperfield" with Dame Maggie Smith and Imalda Staunton. so for Tom to say that none of the kids had any acting ability is just so humble of him. Toms never been an actor that toots his own horn, so well played Tom. Also did a great job in Origin, can't wait to see more of Tom on the big screen, and it would be great if he could play a younger version of Lucius Malfoy, if WB ever bring back the original cast for another Potter movie i would definitely pay to watch it.

Every time a new book or movie came out, it was a HUGE event, and I was lucky enough to have friends who were also into Harry Potter, so I watched every movie the day they came out, and starting from the 4th book, bought every book the same day as well.
It's a shame that "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" was such a trainwreck, I would have loved to go watch the play and all, but the negative reviews and the very high prices (I was still a student back then) forced me to back down.
Tom is such a great guy! I love watching his interview, he's so humble.

What made the the show was the human aspect of the movie and harry potters life after the death of his family. The close friendship and the ability to come together against a enemy, "harry was not alone."

Also The reason it is still popular in my opinion is because the real emotions , the magic not just in the wand but in the love ,compassion, or friendship the movies make us wonder or believe the movies are rich with all of these things and for manny generations to come it still will be filled with all of these thing.

I remember when I went to see the first film. I was too young to read the books when the film came out but I grew up other Harry Potter and I’m still obsessed.

I think the mandrakes would have been too much for me if my mom had read the books to me when I was little. I probably would have cried when they were cut up, or murdered really. As a 19 year old it was still a little much.
Never realised this before but his voice and accent sound very different than Draco's.

He may not say anything, but actions speak louder than words. He may or may not agree with JKR and he is entitled to his privacy in that matter. He has however shown his support in all things HP, including being the only member of the original cast of children to attend the FB films. Wether or not he agrees with Rowling he has been acting like an adult. He neither attacks his former acting contemporaries or JKR. It shows great maturity.
