It pissed me off that they cornered him twice about JK Rowling and he answered it perfect. It’s like what do they want and expect him to say that “she’s a monster and a bitch” it is totally okay sticking up for her and saying you’re grateful for what she has done for you and he answered it perfect of “I’m pro discussion and pro love” that’s the best answer he could’ve given anyone and shame on those damn reporters for that🤦🏼♂️
I’m so ecstatic for his BOOK!! i got it pre ordered from Amazon my sister did it for me on October 18th!! this year is when it comes out hardcovered I don’t mind if it’s not signed by him personally untill I bump into him I’d want it personal for me only if he asked

I am glad Tom did not allow the interviewers to pull the answer they wanted from him. He held on to his boundary and shared nothing but good things regardless of them rewording the question three times to try to extract the dirt and get more drama.
I honestly wish, that they could do a story that redeems Malfoy. So that Tom can reprise the role. I'm hoping that's what JK Rowling has installed after Fantastic Beast franchise comes to a close. Seeing Malfoy, interact with Ron, Harry, and Hemione again, and telling them he's sorry. That would be grand.
He does not need so much of a redemption, for he was never a proper villain, as a moment of reconciliation with the Gryffindors, and overcoming his bias against Mudbloods.
@@SamvedIyer I would like to see something like that. They could do a reunion. They could address bullying which is a real problem. They could show Malfoy making amends, and trying to help those he hurt. And perhaps a real friendship start to form. And it would be amazing to see Malfoy go on a journey to try to redeem his father.

@@SamvedIyer Not really, I don't think you understand what I'm saying at all. Harry's story is over. And as we've seen with Ben-Hur and Star Wars, the redemption arc is something that audiences enjoy. And we can finally see the acting range of Tom Felton.
He was never really a villain, just a deluded bully. He did not harm nor kill anyone. The redemption he got is the moment we saw him determined to stand on Harry‘s side in the battle. He didn’t really want to go to the dark side, he was just so weak and afraid of getting himself or his family hurt, so he had to obey his mother and go to the other side.. it’s heartbreaking actually..

Tom is human just like the rest of us, so we should treat him accordingly. Let's be nice to him, everyone, not run away from him in fear just because he played Draco Malfoy. Let's all be friends with Tom, everyone needs friends, everyone needs to feel loved. :)
If they could just stop asking him his opinion on JKR because it's been hashed over enough, he's not changing his mind. If I were on cast, yeah, I'd be grateful to her for the body of work she created that has inevitably launched my acting career but that doesn't mean I agree with everything she says and does and believes. Plus they were all kids at the time and were juggling an acting career on top of their lives, they didn't know she was like that at first. Hell, most of us didn't.
