You guys sure he is a DE? His track time is pretty stunning for being 6'4. Catches the ball pretty well.
I'm pretty familiar with Floriduh hs ball. Benjamin is small school ball that will have a handful of decent teams on their schedule. With that said, it's nowhere near teams like Miami Central, Mainland, STA, etc. Those teams would beat Benjamin buy as much as they wanted to.
What Coach AB is talking about is like a Featherston body type. He may have been 6'7" DE but with a basketball frame (tall but narrow shoulders) that struggled to add weight and it hurt his football development.
Storms and Papuchis have some freaky deeky athletes they could mold into studs. Lamont Green, Dante Anderson, Aaron Hester and this kid all have elite burst off the line, now if Storms can build their bodies and Papuchis can show them how to turn that athleticism into real football skills... and this edge unit could be really special in a couple years

Most players this skilled want immediate play and with NIL so big now, they take the chance to get immediate play on another team. I miss pre-transfer portal but at the same time... we would be about 3 years behind what our program expects

It’s a real adjustment for a younger player to move up to college. But that is a lot of talent. Coach may have something with this guy at linebacker.
Adding 30 lbs with a D1 s & c program over two years is no big deal on the right frame. He just needs tp show up to lifts, work hard and listen to Storms.
Going to be interesting to see how FSU uses him. Excited though, he's a great player
