If the A/C button is turned off on MEB cars with CO2 heat pump, the energy consumption for cabin hvac will be increased since the heat pump is denied from take part in heating up the cabin.
Is comfort compromised from the Pro version? You mentioned only a heavier steering wheel. For example, are the seats the same, or is there a difference?
I was never really convinced that the GTX was worth the wait or cost and your content has been useful in confirming that. I think if you wanted a sporty 'GTX' style EV there are other brands and models that would be a better match. Like you I feel that the ID7 excels at being a smooth and luxurious and relaxing cruiser or family car for the more refined gentleman and his group rather than needing to be sporty.
I got my ID7 GTX Tourer, and don’t misunderstand this, it is a fantastic relaxing long cruiser! In my opinion, it is worth having AWD. The things he is mentioning is just tiny small things that you can’t even tell if not comparing them directly :)

No it is not, I have an ID7 gtx tourer and you can’t tell the difference. Everything just is a little better in suspension and handling in the gtx :)
does it drive in 4 wheel drive all the time or is it rear wheel drive biased
Rear wheel drive, all wheel drive when needed
VWs obsession with red puts me off any GTX models. Red paint, red stitching, red badges, red... red... red!
Maybe to appeal to communist China 😅
It's traditional GTI signs
Kinda wish red was on offer for the pro s!!

@axelramsfors9731 I think that is the point it is a hell of a lot more money than the base models for not really much gain.
@@DFowlesVWID7Tourer With the same equipment is the GTX only 3.000 Euro more expensive than the Pro S.
That isn't "a lot more money".
Here in Sweden, they both are almost the same price :)
Since I am not special I will pass on this video
Peugeot has 97 kWh in the 3008 already, come on VW!
Yeah, fuck system design, just make the number bigger!
It uses more thirsty for the same scenario. About 10-20% more
Consumption is more important.
@@Rich-on6fe Leveraging cheap cell prices is very smart, remember winter range and Autobahn range still is a matter of concern to many people.
But not the AWD. 😉
