Gillian, Nobody could understand you more than me. I dropped out of high school because of my problems, insecurities, and vulnerabilities. My mom took me out of school. I was so miserable. My mom saved me and for that I will be forever grateful. My mom is like your mom. She is strong and has always put me and my two brothers first. She is also like your mother in a sense that it is not hard to make her mad. She has so much spirit and strength, it is unbelievable. I did get my GED and later went to college, a community college like you. I worked for the DMV for the state of Virginia for 8 1/2 years. I quit my job a while back because of different reasons. I have been through a lot myself. So just to tell you don't be ashamed of it because it probably has happened to more people than you think. Stay strong, Gillian. You are an incredible and talented woman. Always remember that.
Same my mum and dad are split but like I get to see him a lot!!! I saw him in real life at least 4 times and my mum and dad still talk on the phone. She says they are not friends but she is totally comfortable talking to him XD I get to go to America for a bit or maybe he travels here. My brother got to see him more since he is 8 years older than me,he was there when my mum and dad were still together. While I wasn’t but I don’t really scare it’s not sad since it’s basically still like having a dad. I live in Australia now but I was born in America, we moved cause idk probably because of everything I said above but yeah.
