GREAT JOB !!!!!! My father served on LST 699 in the South Pacific from 1944-1946. I can wait to see your diorama. LST had a nickname , Large Slow Target.
This is awesome! My grandfather was an LST captain and it's great to know I can create an accurate replica of his ship with the correct configurations.

I am not a ship modeler as I am a model railroader and my interests are directed toward scenery and structures. With that said .. amazing work .. "Excellent modeling is .. excellent modeling"
I'm a new subscriber but I've watched your videos and I love them but could I get you to do a video or someone on here to do a video from start to end of how to 3D print model parts? Like from when you get the idea 💡 to how you enter the plans on the computer and start the printer to the end everything, how 🤔 to make the printer work with what filament or solution etc.
Great job! You have incredible patience to complete that model like that. Can you please tell me what glue you use to that connects PE to primed plastic?? Thank you
thats great job really nice ,what i suggest you about the 3d parts because i am making also many my self ,experiment to model the supports your self is less cleanup and they dont deform especially the small parts like the guns you can add very fine supports that the softwares dont provide ,i normally place them into the slicing software with the angle i think it will work to see the "islands" then i am modeling the supports the way and thickness i like !
I HAVE ALWAYS loved the L S T , AND YOUR MODEL BUILD IS QUITE GOOD , BUT WHAT I L O V E ABOUT YOUR MODEL , IS THAT B E A U T I F U L , G L O R I O U S. 4 8 STAR AMERICAN FLAG AT THE TRUCK ... T H A T , IS MY MOST BELOVED FLAG ! X OCEAN TASK SHIP CAPT. P. van ESS. U S M M.
My Grandfather built LSTs and landing craft during WW2. My Dad bought me an LST model when I was a kid in the 70's.
This made me smile.
WoW !! I’m not a ship builder; however that is very impressive. Hope to see some vehicles in the diorama. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for a comprehensive introduction to this kit. My Father served on an LST and is nice to know that a decent kit exists.
Built in Evansville, IN and first sailed on the Ohio River.
I have zero patience for model building myself, but I do enjoy these videos.
Maciej, you do a nice job on your ships, with good attention to detail, like the American flag with 48 stars. Very nice!

Fantastic. I have this model waiting for me to start. My father served on LST 44. Thank you for the tips.
Great skill and work.

Великолепно!!!
Gorgeous work! Apologies if this was mentioned in the video, but what PE set did you use?
I used metal parts from my other models.
I work on LST 325

Amazing!!! what do you use to glue the parts so neatly?
For plastic parts i use Tamiya extra thin glue. For others a regular super glue.
@@Drydockinscale Thank you very much!! I've just suscribed. I'm really amazed with your work!! Greetings from Argentina.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
hi why didnt you replace the doors with photo etch doors? but you did replace the ladders?
The plastic doors were of quite good quality
What kind of drill do you take?
Cheap chinese drill.
I dare say that the only thing missing from the kit is the landing craft.
Is it possible to 3D print railings?
Yes, many modelers do that.
Lets see a G scale USA Challenger Locomotive weathered and aged .
For a 1/350 scale kit this looks small
do titanic

They used them on D-day
I’ve been disappointed Revel never did a 1/144 LST to go with their Fletcher Class Destroyer. That would have been impressive.
scale wayyyyy to small for such a small vessel
I Love TAMIYA
