*Corrections:* 1) You can obtain the Nazar and Bezoar in pre-hardmode. 2) You can't get the blindfold from pixies or light mummies -- only dark mummies, slimelings, and corrupt slimes.

The best way to obtain the Nazar is by killing the cursed skulls that spawn semi-frequently in the dungeon pre-hardmode. IF you are already in hardmode, you should make a new small map and farm cursed skulls in the pre-hardmode dungeon, since the enchanted weapons are very rare in hardmode.
They spawn much more frequently in pre-hardmode than hardmode. After making the Ankh Shield though, I'm not too impressed. I ended up removing it for another accessory. I think it's much better early on where you actually encounter the debuffs it protects you from. It doesn't protect you from any of the end game debuffs. If you are already at that stage but like the knockback ressistance effect I'd recommend Paladin Shield which gives 2 more defence than the Ankh Shield.

I had 4 tri-fold maps and thought they were useless so I threw them all away now I have everything to craft the ankh shield except the tri-fold map, I hate myself...

Try battle potion and water candle. Also put banners to kill them fast. In night time they spawn like crazy

Important: for those of you wondering, you can get the armor polish/wisp from random armored skeletons in the underground, you can also fight dark and shadow mummies in the Crimson to get the blindfold, you get the trifold map from light mummies

I spent several hours farming for a megaphone. Didn’t realize I already had it. Finally got the shield. Reforged it to warding for +8 defence. THEN MY IPAD BROKE AND DELETED EVERYTHING

Do a cellphone guide, it is really hard to find all those pieces for it :l
HarroKitteh The only hard part about the cellphone is getting the fishing items which requiere luck and you can only get 1 chance per day, also good luck killing the nymph, it seems i got lucky because i found her while doing the hellevator
TheWickedRhymes Nymph is pretty easy. If you get the lifeform analyzer you can possibly find her just by jumping down a hellevator or a cave system. The potion that turns mobs red can also help if you have trouble seeing mobs in the dark. Also it is a 100% drop on expert mode. I have like 3 of them just from going to underground lakes for my fishing daily.
Dang Angler keeps giving me the fisherman's guide when all I need is a sextant.
TheSilverOrn I got the nymph easily, its just hard finding the right mobs that i need to kill.

I find the copper pickaxe quite useful.
Yes to mine ores and then you can upgrade It to get the gold pickaxe; Or you can go fishing in the ocean biome and find the reaver shark.
It's useful u can use it till meteorite things

Funny how, when I ask my friends if they created an Ankh Charm and/or an Ankh Shield. They say that they need one more item, which is the Trifold Map, and guess what. I have it...

Before 1.3, the reds wings were very very VERY helpful. I was able to beat plantera by flying forever. Basically to stay in the air in one position off of a block: hold the jump button and down at the same time. That’s how I have over 283 skeletron primes defeated

I’d like to see the ankh shield mix with the lava charm/waders or something like that, so you can have the Debuff resists and a lava resist.
You can obtain the nezoar and bezoar in pre-hardmode but they are easier to obtain in hardmode since there is more enemies for them to drop the two items.

Try farming in the Corruption, it's easier (tho i admit i got vitamins in the crimson)

Used some water candles and inreased spawn potion to speed things up.

if you are in hardmode create a small world an dig out a very big room and kill hornets because if you are not in hardmode you can get hornets alot easier than in hardmode

the most helpful item, for mage, i think is the celestial handcuffs. They are a little bit difficult to make but you can craft it in pre hardmode.

Most of these items can be shimmered into the item they’re crafted with. Ex. The bezoar can be shimmered into a bandage, the vitamins can be shimmered into armor polish, etc.

Omg thx I was searching through my chest and found some of these items so I was like oh snap ankh shield is cool so I checked what is had and had everything but vitamins and bezoar
i already had a little under half of the items, got like 4 of them very easily and then i just had to get armor polish, nazar, and cobalt shield. got lucky with cobalt shield and got it in my first chest and then armor polish and nazar took a few hours of grinding in total about 4 hours i'd say so i'm pretty lucky :D
