@xxx xxx Johnny Sack wanted Ralphie killed because he made a joke about Johnny's wife, Ginny. He said she had a 90-pound mole removed from her ass. You don't make a joke about a made guy's wife in the mob, an insult to a made guy's wife is an insult to the guy himself. Johnny said Ralph 'violated' his wife's honor. And it was called off because Johnny got over it at the very last second. Ralph was a second away from being whacked.
I love how this scene was shot like an affair. Door's unlocked, Ginny's on her knees wiping her lips, Johnny grabbing her... Such an emotional exchange with trust at stake, it's wholesome and sad all at once, brings me to tears 😭

@@ShaneusSnake for real though. He was a major pain in the ass in almost every way imaginable but you cannot deny how smart and profitable he was.
No, he knew.

That asian hitman should have a show of his own.
5 episodes of him saying nothing and just staring.
What's your fuckin' problem?

For that they pay him half.
Johnny Sack was the fucking man ! Respect. Unlike 99% of the shits on this show, Sack was an awesome character.
yea
+Mohammed Rizvi Johnny Sac was supercool. Always immaculate and always in control.
+Mohammed Rizvi he had his flaws like everyone does but seemed like a good guy. a real professional
+Mohammed Rizvi Thanks! I feel that more too, they all have issues. I liked Silvio too, I shouldn't though.

Or at all. The character you love to hate.
Should have shot him for that alone

You're illiterate. If you can't write, then please don't.
Of course that you are a character doesn't mean you have character
Johnny had unconditional love for Ginny, that deserves respect.
Johnny Sack was always my favorite character. He lived and worked with a sense of honor and respect.
Johnny Sack was a real old school NY mobster, you don't see guys like him in real life anymore.
exec9292 lol seriously what are these people talking about honor. Every person on this show was a dishonorable piece of shit. OK except maybe Meadow...
Erik Vance And even she was selfish and naive as fuck at times
Zachary Bell yeah, but I think Johnny took the insult too heavily Ralph was such a good earner that he should've considered that before trying to have him clipped

@@Dayvalo202 my theory is because Ralph ask him if he’s getting out at the pool, asain guy says no, then Ralph clicks the button for what looks like the top floor in the elevator, so when Ralph gets out and the Asian guy has now just been from bottom floor to top without getting out, hence the “what’s your fucking problem” only when he Ralph gets out and notices the other guy didn’t follow
@@KennyTyT that makes sense
He didn't want smoke with that Asian dude, that's why.
So? RUclips comments though guys are hilarious
Johnny had his flaws for sure but his genuine commitment to his marriage was always insanely commendable to me! Great character!
"Do you have any idea what you've done?!"
At first, I assumed John was yelling because he learned, upon discovering his wife's stash of candies, that she was partly responsible for the turmoil he had wrought upon the families. But then...
"You lied to me! YOU LIED!"
And that's when I realised John wasn't sweating over some mafia scuffle anymore. He was upset because Ginny felt the need to lie to him. He would have a thousand Ralphs killed before even considering the possibility that she doesn't trust him 100%.
The man was a criminal, but at least he had his priorities straight.
He was talking about both the scuffle and her BS
He was a criminal with empathy and morals, say what you want about johnny sack but out of all the mobsters he's the one that deserved the most respect
Ralph was at least smart enough to not say anything while in the elevator. That guy looks like he would have taken Ralph apart with his bare hands. You get a strong sense that this hit man enjoys his "work."
him and furio would have been the dream team
yeah that hitter looked crazy as fuck.
Enjoyed his work? Thats why he brought a gun to make it quick. U dont know what your talking about. Yeah he looked crazy but not some psycho who will take his time hes the type to shoot u 3 times in the head n run away

@@AakaashNarayanan agreed, he travelled all that way only for half, hence the look of contempt at Ralph at the end.
The great job this show did casting small parts never ceases to amaze. The hitman, frosted tips aside, is so cool and confident in his interactions and the way he studies Ralph in the elevator makes my skin crawl everytime. Why is he just staring at him? So good!
Just a predator staring at what was supposed to be prey

I always loved that the relationship between them was so genuine. You can tell the characters did really love each other for who they were
The guys do mention at some stage of the series Johnny never had a girlfriend or a goomar and didn't do the whole stripper clubs stuff ...
Him and Bobby were the only ones apparently. Even the guys with the more stable and even affectionate marriages like Silvio and Patsy at the very least fucked around with the bing girls.
LOL Johnny is actually a good husband, he's vicious as fuck, but a good husband.
Somehow this scene really touches me in an emocional way. Johnny Sack was a very bad man, but his love for his wife and family was stronger than Tony's, who is the protagonist.
si si muy emocional
The Asian Hitman dude was badass
I don't know, usually those Asian dudes that drive those little Hondas are gay.
What kind of unfortunate life do you lead to come to the conclusion that an Asian dude driving Hondas are usually gay?

This type of random storyline is what made this entire series so amazing.
This was such a GREAT couple! It’s super refreshing when guys are actually nice to their wives on this show, and Jon treated Ginny like a queen. I really only remember him raising his voice at her in a negative, unprovoked manner one time, and it’s not even this moment. He actually had a decent reason to be upset here.
Gotta give Johnny Sack credit ... compared to all other married men in this show .. he was 100% loyal to his wife without fail.
Johnny was actually the only one of these mobsters that was actually a family man. He seems to genuinely love his wife and kids.
Yes, but he is still an absolute monster and a wicked horrible person.
bobby as well
Believe it or not I found it pretty inspiring when Johnny Sack says "F*ck that!" when Ginny thinks she needs to be in conjunction with society's expectations for women. Screw what this screwed up society wants.

Johnny loved Ginny unconditionally. He never once judged her or let the opinions of those around him change the way he looked at her (which he affirms her of gently). She thought she had become undesirable in his eyes because others found her to be so, but Johnny’s perspective of her never changed. a truly devoted man. that’s real love.
This scene always makes me cry. He loves her so much
That stare in the elevator was weirdly hilarious.
Johnny sack wanted Ginny’s weight loss for her not him. What an admirable scene.
If only Ginny got caught snacking a bit later, Ralph woulda been dead and the Asian dude would've made some cheese.
***** Dude, the hitman was about to kill Ralph. Ginny got caught too early. If only Ginny didn't get caught, Ralph would've died, then Johnny Sack would've died, and Carmine could've made Little Carmine the new underboss (making it harder for Phil to become boss). It would actually be more beneficial if the Asian dude dropped Ralph before Johnny caught Ginny snacking.
It's a joke. Look up the scene where Silvio gets mad while gambling.

You just never know what the guy in the elevator next to you is REALLY there for.
a detail I just noticed about this scene -- when Johnny yells, Ginny isn't scared because she knows he would never hurt her. Any of the other mob wives would be terrified
