- Disassembly of a leaky Grohe Eurocube bathroom faucet, including cartridge replacement.
My faucet started leaking a while back, and I needed to take it apart a few times to try to fix it. I tried replacing the cartridge and the O-rings without fixing the leak. It turned out that the inner assembly where the hoses connect had a small crack on each side.
Grohe would not help out with a warranty replacement because I did not have a receipt, since these faucets were installed years ago as part of a new construction. I couldn’t find the replacement part for the inner section and ended up buying a replacement from Lowe’s.
For the record, the long threaded shaft that was unscrewed has a right-hand thread, not a left-hand thread as mentioned in the video.
Hi thanks for the video. I removed the upper screw but the handle does not come off. How do you pull it hard to remove it.
I also have encountered this problem.
How did you resolve this issue? Thanks!
You just pull it hard. Put something below and push against.
Hey. Could you please point the place in the clip where you show where to punch to get plastic out?
