      I recalled these stalls really on the streets with aluminium tables and chairs.. gets really wet everywhere when it rains. Some used to be near Teochew market where current Clark quay is located

    I only go in the evening and never see this store. Always thought there's only one curry chicken mee which is "Ah Heng" upstairs. Will try this if I ever get there early

    I alway go to this stall for curry chicken mee try the one up stair the one with ( mic ) standed but in the end i w back to this stall

    汤水和米粉不分开装,回到家,米粉吸收了汤水变一patpat!可以多收几毛的嘛!我们这里是分开装的!

    I like their curry chicken. Upstairs one also good. But soup is bit lighter.

      There used to be another one upstairs that I like.. but it's closed for good. Maybe retired.

    The curry mee cook will scold u if u take a little more chili. And the food is salty.

    l prefer the upper floor, curry mee, not so dark, Ah Heng curry mee, just above on it unit

      There used to be another one on the 2nd floor near the Outram Char Kway Teow. Wears a singlet. Unfortunately closed for good already

    I order take away before they give very little portion for $5. Not lemak kind of curry tho. It is on the watery side kind of curry if u don't mind.

    looking at how he processes his food, no wonder long queue. He is the bottleneck. 1 person chop the chicken and the other one scoop the curry sauce with the chicken/tau pok/potato. Maybe is just his passion and not so much about money.

      seems like theres a lot of old customers.. everybody chat a bit like kampong. After 20 odd years helming the stall.. don’t think he’s in any hurry 😅 each bowl has to go thru that same merticulous process

      yes from what i tried 3 months back it was frozen. nothing to shout about, just your average curry noodles, not going to make the trip down just for this

      If it's halal.. I also not sure if Singapore regulates that they need to have a Halal sticker which I didn't notice. I feel you man.. 😅

    I tried it before. Normal portion small, not enough to fill my stomach. Taste wise, so so. Nothing special . Still wondering why so popular???

      @@Piggypuggy I happened to be there by chance so I tried this stall. Didn't know up stair also have a curry noodle stall. Will try if happen to be there again.

      hahahaha.. true.. i remember an old school chicken rice stall SWEE KEE.. as a kid.. i also wondered if it's cooked. coz it's also always a bit red at the bones. think it's only undercooked if you see that the chicken flesh is still pink and not white.

    Used to be good not anymore. The hawker now feel 'Super arrogance' takes his own sweet time to make and let the Q grows longer and longer. Even take a break to have a puff on his ciggies

    My only question is has his tasteless curry change for the better or still the same like before. The time that I took was so HORRIBLE it’s tasteless no curry flavour at all.
