I think the Creaking should become faster and stronger the closer you get to the heart. It becomes more vile. It also needs a distance attack to take players down from the treetops, so they cant hide up there and just find the heart easily by shooting arrows at the mob below(make it immune to arrows/able to climb or teleport). Else there is no real challenge by going to the Pale Garden. Beating and avoiding everything there seems easy. You do not need to engage with the mob, when you move on treetops and the pale garden is very dense so you never need to go down to the floor and encounter the Creaking in order to collect the new wood type or etc. Maybe there also can be a mechanic that the heart can only be destroyed from underneath and not above? Or the heart maybe shoots projectile/beams that maybe makes the player blind/levitate so it can't find/reach the heart so easily? Design wise I think the pale garden and the creaking are generally great, but I wouldn't mind a few extra touches. Like maybe make the trees larger and the biome overall more scary looking. The creaking could also be taller and scarier looking to actually intimidate the players like the warden does. Taller trees might help with a taller mob, that also has a greater camouflage when being bigger like the trees are. The dirt blocks and the overall tree shape remind me too much of vanilla dirt + dark oak biome. I also hope for more loot and structures in the Pale Garden, like in the Ancient City(worth visiting).
@@Tsukun5976 Less annoying to beat than the Warden but still a challenge. Also the ancient city is actually worth visiting with all the loot. Pale Garden lacks structures and loot as of now to make it worth the while.
Minecraft is not supposed to be super hard. This is a biome you can find on your first night in the overworld. And having ways to cheese it is probably what they want, you decide how you play the game
@@kekchanbiggestfan It is still not worth the visit assuming it is a rare biome and they put so much effort into the new mob and mechanics. Isn't it sad? The wandering trader probably will also sell the spruce, hanging mosse and dirt.

The Pale Garden gives me SCP Containment vibes. The Creaking not moving when you look at it is SCP-173s speciality. The Creaking looks a little bit like the monsters you see when you put the gas mask on and the biome itself reminds me somewhat of the realm you go to when you use doors with the SCP-860 key.
i wish the trees in the pale garden werent just dark oak trees in shape, additionally they couldve done something with the sky or fog while in this biome to enhance the atmosphere
I would like to mention to EVERYONE, since many people don't know this, this is just the START of 2025's update, the creaking and everything with it will release at the earliest if no changes are made, around October, but more likely, if changes are made, it will release sometime around December or January. After this we will have a whole year of more content to look forward too, this is just a very SMALL part of this coming year's updates.
I think the monochrome look of the biome isn't quite right. Like it's nearly there but there is something that feels missing... and not just colour. It feels like its missing ground vegitation for the more overgrown feel. They could have made the trees slightly different shape (imo) rather than just a reskin of the dark oak
I mean to be fair, birch and small jungle trees have really similar shapes to oak trees, and swamp trees are just oak trees with slightly more leaves and vines
I think the pale garden was a disappointment. It’s just a dark oak forest with different colors + vines. Instead of a dark oak reskin, I want to see densely packed skinny leafless trees with gnarled branches that the creaking can easily blend into. I also don’t want normal mobs to spawn, as it ruins the eerie feeling when there are constantly mobs spawning around you. As well as the creaking having a lower spawn rate to make the encounter less scary more creepy. And finally, make the creaking heart harder to find to make it more challenging again.
I think you should support and make suggestions for better tree generation Its mostly unique aside the trees and possibly the spawn rates We can't forget how bad the Deep Dark was
It would be cool if they made the pale garden biome more garden-like by having exclusive structures (or maybe biome variants ig) like a mini hedge maze or a fountain. These could make for more interesting obstacles when you're evading the creaking. Small variations in the appearance of the creaking would be a nice touch too. It would be good too if the pale garden had something to attract curious players at night time like a small amount of glowing foliage or maybe mobs will visibly avoid the pale garden to give the player a false sense of security.
This mob is absolutely fantastic from a design point as soon as I saw the one move when Jens is playing I screamed nooooo they’re like the Weeping Angel!!
