Driving an F1 Car! | The Best Experience Of My Life

- I was lucky enough to drive an actual F1 car... ! 😲 I still can't believe this happened. I spent a couple of weeks preparing, then flew to Portugal to drive the legendary Williams FW33 courtesy of LRS Formula (links below). I decided to film the entire process, from physical prep, simulator time, Formula Renault laps & finally actually taking the wheel of the F1 car. I hope this video is able to transmit even just a tiny bit of the emotions and adrenaline of the day!

I follow F1 since 1968, and have assembled a good ear foe engine revs, gear shifting and braking zones, and it is almost incredible to see with what maturity you assembled you very first laps driving an F1. I drove this Williams around Magny Cours in June 2022. Greatest experience of my life, and possibly the most terrifying!
bro how did you get the chance to drive an f1 without having not doing karting
@@kenstole4601 it's a driving experience offered by LRS Formula. You're at the track for a day. Two sessions in Formula Renault then one in the F1. It's not cheap, for that Williams you're talking 6000-9000 EUR depending on which track you choose.

Most people truly do not realize how intense racing is. Until you experience the elevation and banking of a real track, you cannot actually comprehend how crazy it actually is. And then add a f1 car pulling g forces that would knock people unconscious.. it’s incredible stuff

Cool beans! The driving lines looked really good. I wish I'll be able to drive one as a life long F1 fan. There are cars in Finland you can drive, but with cosworth engines. I wan't the real deal too. Since I can remember. Happy for you!!

looks like you did a good job i was lucky to drive a older F1 car from AGS in france years back ( video on my channel ) with the old cosworth V8 engine the cameras never fully pick up the sound of these great cars
