Border collie still the smartest dog in the earth.. I own border collie sheepdog and very intelligent dog, I'm deaf and my dog know some of my sign language..
I have a deaf Dalmatian and he has learned some basic sign language as well. I can sign to her from horseback and she understands what I’m telling her.
My Dachshund Cleopatra is the most intelligent dog, understands every thing we speak in 2 languages, unfortunatly she uses it more for mischief than for good. The cat even speaks.
I've got a chihuahua and hes really clever. He can play pattercake with my mrs . Ring a bell when he wants a treat. Lets you know when he needs a wee and even makes different sounds when he playing. My cat has ywice the brain power of both of them put together. He is manipulative and runs both my Mrs and me round his great big paws .
The N azis did lot's of experiments with dogs. Their star in intelligence was a little Dachshund named Kuno von Schwertberg-nickname, "Kurwenal". So if we go by the science of the Third Reich, it would seem those cute little wieners are exceptional. I mean the Germans had access to all breeds. I've had 8 different dogs in my life and my Long Hair Dachshund never ceases to amaze me. I also have an adopted poodle that is d-umb as dirt and untrainable. This vid is unreliable and how they come to these ratings needs further investigation.
I had a full bred cocker spaniel that could ride a skateboard, play soccer, and use a toilet. My German Shepherd is pretty smart, but that cocker was the smartest dog I’ve come across in my lifetime.

I’m not convinced by this assessment. I’ve had Chows and Rottweilers as family dogs living together for 30+ years and they both have developed into incredibly smart dogs. The really smart ones are those that can learn a skill that is not inherent to the breed.
I had a dog that was a cross between a German Shepard and an Australian Shepard. I think Susie could read my mind. She was a great kid dog and a fearless guard dog.

So, was a questionnaire furnished to each dog in dogish, based on its age, or did you give each of the dogs tasks to perform, and compare the results to the same done by same-aged humans (1 human year = 7 dog years) with like IQs?
Breeders of Malinios have clearly been working hard to lift the intelligence of that breed while other breeds have probably just been concentrating on looks. I've had a number of working Rottweilers and the Belgian Shepherds are very close in terms of problem solving ability and intelligence and their working ability is off the charts. This list needs to be brought up to date.
@@intellectualgladiata Belgian Malinois are a highly intelligent breed. That’s why they are most often used by law enforcement, military, and explosives experts.

How about the IQ’s of different dog breed owners?
The more dangerous the breed the dumber the owner.
😂
They match the dog breed.
😂😂👍👍👍
Hmm, maybe that explains why my German Shepherd looks at me like I’m an imbecile sometimes.
😂
There is no explanation of how the IQ levels were determined.
It’s just a fun video-no more. You’re correct. There is no basis explained.
It's all made up.
The IQ points are all made up.
Nach dem US-System der Belohnung also Bezahlung.
Wer darauf pfeift, ist dumm, nein, er ist eine starke Persönlichkeit
He most likely just made it all up
No disrespect to other breeds, but the Border Collie is on another level.
true true true and I have a Dobe!
Dobes are cleverer than most people.
Yup, that’s why you see so many of them as guide dogs for the blind
J ai eu un border collie très intelligent

Kelpie are the smartest dog.
There's a difference between intelligence and obedience, just because a dog does what it's told doesn't necessarily make it smart
Had a Sheltie as a lad. Incredibly intelligent dog.
My border collie, Mica, was like no other dog I’ve had. It was like I was talking to a human. I miss you, Mica!😢
We have a border collie. Best dog ever.

Mon border collie me manque mon pilou au paradis des chiens
I think this is more about measuring obedience than intelligence.
You're right. You left out the puli, a Hungarian herding dog with dreadlocks. They think for themselves. They herd sheep without the shepherd.
our dog is a wizzard at conning me out of treats
How do these dogs keep the ink inside the lines of the little circles on the IQ test?
Border collie is smarter than the average human.
Not difficult. Average human is pretty damn stupid.
Actually the Malinois or Belgian shepherd has supplanted the Border Collie as he most intelligent breed.
No surprise there....
No doubt, I have 2..
@kimnenninger7226 Any dog is smarter than average human
That's why I raise Border Collies.
