  • Oscillating spindle sander is a sander mounted on a spindle that both rotates and oscillates up and down along the axis of the spindle. This type of oscillating sander is good for sanding curves and contours that would be difficult with hand or orbital sanding.

Did you make any changes after getting lots of dust to the power station and controller? You should have mounted them outside or in a separate ventilated room in side the box. Nice project.

  • @Loneman_OG

Jeebus! The motor you've linked to costs ₹2,999, which equates to around £30, yet to buy the same motor here in the UK, we're looking at anything between £75 and £150! 😲
Excellent video, though, and a handy addition to a workshop, but, as others have said, you really should have some sort of dust collection system. Maybe that could be a project for a future video? 👍

That is an excellent build my friend. What are the 2 boards called u used for the electrics at the back of the switches in the doors with the oscilating fixings as well?? I have a lot of the parts u used for this but those little boards with the small capacitors in them I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE CALLED??
I'm not a tech savvy as u are man.
I really enjoyd watching this build. wHAT SIZE POWER SUPPLY DID U USE FOR THIS MOTOR?

For what you paid for that motor and all the electronics that you have inside of this thing you could’ve bought one made by a reputable manufacturer, like rigid for less than what you spent on materials and time

I'm sure you didn't pay $2,999 for a motor. Why not go to a big box store and buy an oscillating spindle sander and save your money. Something is wrong with this whole concept.

You might want to double check the currency... it’s clearly Indian baht, not US dollars... I’d guess the price is way below $3000, let alone $60...
The real disappointment is not including links for the DC PWM speed controllers, but given it links to Indian amazon, that would be just as useless.
